Hard to say which way this will go , I guess the performance of the guests in each team and how new guy Joe Jacobs goes will be important, could be busy night for Jye tonight . Going by last Saturdays display Ben Barker could seriously hamper Berwick chances of getting revenge for the defeat earlier in the season

Having Rory in the line up is not a situation I'm very happy about but I doubt it affected the attendance, nor would it stop me going to Cardiff if he'd become champ . Personally I don't think the wildcard should be decided by the result of the British final , as for the turnout I think it would improve if the meeting moved to a Saturday evening this would allow more people to travel from around the country without the problem of having school or work the next day

Will Josh bring his flip- flops ?
-
Why stop at flip flops ? Surely he should have been wearing gloves , protective glasses & ear defenders too , also I'm not sure about shorts and a short sleeved T-shirt it's possible they could also be construed to be a safety risk as wel . Personally I couldn't care less what's on his feet and I can't say I'm surprised that's what he was wearing seems fairly normal footwear for most antipodean folks especially speedwayriders in my experience

It's very educational on here , since I joined I now know all sorts of way to insult others that I never knew before lol

Great victory tonight with everyone picking up a race win . Really pleased to see Luke get a race win , when we finally get seven fit riders on the track we should be hard to beat at home -

Hopefully Jye's good form last Saturday night will continue, with Payne unavailable it looks like he will have at least on extra ride , maybe more if Lewis isn't fit enough to take his place -
Never understand the point of stealing speedway bikes , what you going to do with it once you've nicked it ? It's not as if you can use it on the road is it ? How would you offload it there a big black market for stolen bikes or spares can you flog it on eBay ? Surely the speedway community isn't that big that any stuff that comes on the market would soon be identified

The fans dont matter though do we

So was this just a ploy by Auty to get more cash or sponsors ?

Really chuffed with that tonight , plenty close racing and an excellent well earned and hard fought victory only downside was Lewis's horrific looking crash , hopefully it will just be concussion and a bit of bruising . It's a longtime since I've seen team riding as good as Nick's tonight . Pleased to see Jye get among the points . Maybe we don't quite need Ethan Hunt just yet -

With a fully fit seven riders this would be a tough match, but with the current injury list at Berwick , they should perhaps give a Ethan Hunt a call as a victory looks like Mission Impossible . Let's hope it's a good meeting with cracking racing and all the riders staying safe ,hopefully there will be no need for covers tomorrow night , be good to see another decent crowd I'm surest night in Banditland is more pleasureable than watching Britians Got Talent , as Yazz once said " The Only Way Is Up," -
Berwick V Redcar Sgb Championship 27/05/17@ 7-00pm

The injuries at reserve are more of a problem IMHO , already using guests to cover Jye , if Lee's injury is long term we will need to look at the transfer market again as I don't think Ryan is fit yet The injuries at reserve are more of a problem IMHO , already using guests to cover Jye , if Lee's injury is long term we will need to look at the transfer market again as I don't think Ryan is fit yet -

After his previous interview in The Speedway Star telling us how great they where now that Lewis has cut his ties with Revolution Racing will there be a follow up interview in telling us what a big mistake it was getting involved with them ? -
Berwick V Redcar Sgb Championship 27/05/17@ 7-00pm
DSC67 replied to Normski's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Well done to Redcar on a well deserved victory . Even before the Ht 8 crash The Bandits where never looking like they were going to win , after losing Payne & Howe it was an impossible task . Danny's move up to No2 has left us very week at reserve especially with Jye out injured. As for the crash and the events afterwards are some the scariest I've seen in a long time and I'm amazed that they walked away form it,, hope all involved , including the medic , will not be to seriously injured . Not sure where Berwick go from here need to see what the extent of the injury list is first then make a decision once the dust has settled , the upcoming meetings aren't getting any easier for us , even with 7 fully fit riders The Comets and The Tigers would be a tough ask -
Bandits V Panthers 20/5/17
DSC67 replied to havenagotahope's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Lets be honest the only reason he was asked was because he was there and his average fitted and it was easier than phoning around hunting for a rider who'd have to travel up to Newcastle at short notice not the first time its happened when a visiting teams has had a rider injured at Sheilfield and they've invited a Berwick rider to help out in a Sunday fixture -

I get the feeling the Bandits management may have asked him to stay safe -
How many Aussie riders can you think of that have been involved serious court cases in recent years ?

From what I've seen of him at Berwick he's definitely worth sticking with always gives 100% -
There might be a bit extra spice to next Saturday night meeting then
-
Could be interesting at Berwick next Saturday , with 3 Aussies in our line up BB will have plenty opportunities to get his alleged dislike of Australians out his system
