  1. I was always told it was a crows foot every day , not sure how you convert that into minutes though
  2. I wasn't quite sure how last nights meeting was going to go , I'd expected a stiffer challenge from The Diamonds. Having Kelsey at reserve instead of JPB didn't really affect us that much as the performance of both Hopwood & Bowtell cancelled him out . Robbo has had better nights at Shielfield guess his recent busy schedule might have caught up with both man and machine and it took Steve Worrall to ht 15 before he picked up a win . Ricky Wells picked some early practice for next Saturday night and will be looking to continue in a similar vein. For Berwick it was another good solid performance with everyone except Jye picking up a win , hopefully we can continue next weekend, but there's a tough looking visit to Foxhall Heath to come first.
  3. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/h/heart_of_midlothian/6098198.stm https://www.theguardian.com/football/2007/feb/12/match.kilmarnock His career as an assistant ref in football was about as good as his one as a speedway ref
  4. This weeks article in the Speedway Star only says that both parties would be happy for him to return next year but it depends on weather we can fit him in
  5. It's the first sign of madness , or so they say
  6. I hope Danny can make some starts tonight he rarely seems to have much of an impact when he doesn't make a decent gate .Connor Coles at No 7 certainly weakens us IMHO . Hopefully R/R will continue to give us a decent return but tonight's opposition is a lot tougher than the previous two weeks have been . I expect this one to go all the way to Ht 15 again
  7. If Glasgow where to get promoted would they look to change their race night to avoid clashes with GPs and other continental meetings , would fans be as keen to turn up in numbers on a weekday evening , it would certainly affect the amount of traveling supporters attending meetings
  8. No matter which club a particular rider lines up for it seems to me that they're on a hiding to nothing , one set of fans is going to accuse him of not trying
  9. I'd say the crowd was kind of what you'd expect given the opposition and that there was very little but bragging rites up for grabs due to,the league status of both clubs . Shame really because they missed an entertaining evening
  10. Well done to Craig. , a real shot in the arm for British Speedway, having another Brit in the GP series can't be a bad thing
  11. Another good nights racing and a deserved win , I wouldn't be too disappointed to see JPB's name on next years team sheet , he rode hard for just the single point he got ,always gives 100%
  12. Another candidate for foot in mouth disease , maybe you should check your facts before posting nonsense
  13. You need stronger medication the stuff you're taking ATM obviously isn't working
  14. Just how would you explain this situation to a newbie to the sport , someone you've taken along for the first time ? It's all fine and well trying to stop teams from trying to pull a fast one , but common sense needs to be applied IMHO once again speedway has managed to make itself look like a Mickey Mouse sport
  15. Makes sense doesn't it when the meetings live on TV ? And its not as if they're the first club who's done it are they ?
  16. Absolutely shocking if true , I always thought he was Burger King type of a guy
  17. Having been at a few internationals , I'd say that's probabably because the majority of people attending are Welsh and don't need to stay over
  18. people have been complaining for years that shared events should be on a neutral track
