Berwick V Scunthorpe Championship 22/4/17@7-00pm

Like I mentioned in my previous post with my comment about KK , Claus isn't the first rider to do this sort of thing and sadly he wont be the last -
Only in the event of a draw at the end of the second leg

Never really been happy with the TR rule , I've always felt to get double points the rider should at least have to win the race , don't se why you should get extra points for beating the opponents second string rider for 3 rd place , I also feel that it should not be available to the home team

Dimitri Berge has been most unimpressive and that's putting it mildly

Anyone know what the long term prognosis is on Ryan's injury ? Could be looking at at least 3 replacements if its long term , guess things will change after Thursday night and the completion of our 4th away match -

Don't think that you'd be allowed to kick Dick Barrie up and down the football pitch Looks like Claus has been comparing notes with Krzystof Kasprzak -

Well done to Sunny . You're never going to win a speedway meeting with a 2 man team , losing Claus was a big blow that said it was an excellent performance from Danny and Kev ,. By the time Bridger got going it was to late , Berge was dire did he actually pick any points that weren't gifted ? Liam is a finding life in the main body of the team tough , but I don't see him improving much when he drops down added to the fact that Danny will swap with him so we won't get the extra rides from him . -
The crowds so fat this season at Brewick have been pretty decent , mainly due to the fact that we've had mostly local derbies so far , added to,the fact the the new promoters/ ownership seeems to have attracted a few old faces back . Be interesting to see how the levels are when the visitors aren't quite as local as Edinburgh, Glasgow etc

Dick's comparison to football is slightly foolish IMHO , in football fans are always slagging their team off call for the mangers head or wanting underperforming player can be dropped . We all want Berwick to do well and nobody really expects us to be champs , I just want to se a decent performance with 7 riders putting in a good shift , last night was a lot better and with a wee bit of luck we'll start wining matches
-
We don't do the business in the big heats it's as simple as that , added to the that Liam was a passenger last night and when you're already a rider down you can't afford that . On the plus side both Kevin and Claus seem to have found some speed art last . There was a lot of good racing last night just a shame about the result

Personally I think any club that would force a disabled persons carer to pay to get in should be ashamed of themselves . There's plenty other free loaders who get in for nowt that they should be cracking down on

Really looking for Liam to kick on this year , the no2 race jacket is always a big ask for any rider , perhaps a spell back at reserve might help if him and Danny switch when the new green sheets come out -

Berwick might manage a slight improvement on their previous showing , but I'm not that hopeful -

If you don't make starts or get heat winners you ain't going to win meetings it's as simple as that . Our no2 scored 2+2 theirs a guy who has never seen the place before scored 7 says it all really . Tough period ahead for the Bandits but if things don't improve after the away match at Glasgow I can see changes being -
Check the date the statement was released

Mike Parker was against the opening of a track at Berwick as he we'd only last a few weeks and they'd be left with an unfulfilled fixture list , 50yrs later I think its safe to say he got that one wrong
-
That would be my next question then , when does it expire ? And if Sky pull out does this annul the contract with Go Speed ?
-
With a new promotion in place , a new look team and the fact it's the 50 year celebration at Berwick I'd expect the crowds to be up initially, if they stay that way all season will depend on how the team performs I'd guess

Is there any reason the BSPA can't dump Terry Russell and negotiate their own deal ?
-
Don' t see where the problem is Nigel is not an employee of Sky TV , he's freelance is he not ? He also commentates on talkSport and does newspaper work as well
-
Wrong I attend plenty live speedway meetingsover the course of the season but It's a wee bit difficult for me to attend a live meeting in Poole or somewhere else's that's 200 miles + away when I live in The Scottish Borders , so I watch it live on Sky instead
