  1. I wasn't expecting to to be there to be honest
  2. With John Lindman missing last nights meeting through illness, does that mean he's out for Thursday night as well ?
  3. I though I heard it mentioned last night that Greaves was booked for both fixtures
  4. A lot easier a win than I had imagined. Great stuff from David & Jye with good back up from Kevin and Dany . Took Sheffield a while to get going and leaving the T/S ride until ht 14 didn't help them much. James Shane's maybe didn't score a lot but you can't fault his effort i for one was quite impressed with him , it will be a far stiffer test tomorrow night v Newcastle.
  5. Have you saved some of your dole money to allow you to attend ?
  6. For some reason , Roy seems to have labelled John Lindman with " The Enforcer " nickname
  7. One or two decent races last night on a track that seemed to offer the riders something. As predicted Rory was unstoppable and Barker gave his usual "Death or Glory " display , I was quite surprised by Hartel's performance didn't expect him to do quite so well , as for the rest they where pretty forgettable, didn't expect much from Heels and I was proved right. Good night from The Bandits reserves especially " The Enforcer " , Howe and Spud still seem a bit underpowered. A similar score next Saturday night Vs The Tigers please , not sure we'll do much in the return of this fixture on Thursday night
  8. Never mind you could always watch The Eurovision Song Contest & You can give me a wave as I drive through Cornhill on my way to Berwick
  9. If the form Roo boy Rory was in last night continues tonight Berwick will be in for a tough night
  10. Looks like this could be another tight meeting, we'll need all 7 riders to be scoring points if we're looking to win , Starke is a decent choice as guest & and I'm sure Ben will be as good value as he usually is , always entertaining to watch
  11. Probably Auld Duffers disease , or coffin dodgers syndrome
  12. The decision to exclude Jye was terrible, the incident happened just in front of me and my pal and neither of could believe it , if the ref could see the NBJ incident clearly enough to throw him out I can't see how she couldn't see Morris clattering into Jye . The racing wasn't the greatest tonight, I thought that they might of put some water down during the meeting as it was pretty dusty . Some of the later heats where abit bit better but I guess a bit like Friday night this is another meeting we let slip through our hands .
  13. If you learn to spell properly then maybe the management might take your suggestion seriously
  14. This should be a home win , hopefully all 7 riders will be among the points
  15. This is the 3 time this season I've heard of his happening, personally I don't understand why it's allowed to happen team managers surely tell the rider which gate they're going off or the rider has it marked in his programme , and finally they should check before they put the helmet on
  16. Would the real Berwick Bandits please stand up ! After last weeks meeting I was a bit apprehensive about tonight especially when Bomber and Ulrich where added to the Hammers line up , but no need to worry ( well maybe just a little bit at one point ) Berwick got off to a decent start and managed to weather a Hammers fight back and held on for the win and also prevented Lakeside from taking anything from the meeting, . It was another good performance from captain Kev & NBJ with everyone else chipping in with points . There's no doubt that losing Ostergard was a big blow to the visitors but sometimes that's the way speedway is sometimes. Hopefully this Bandits team will turn up next weekend against The Comics .
