  1. I'm glad I recorded this and watched it when I got home from Berwick, after four heats I was bored and ready to switch off if I'd been watching live I'd probably have been channel hopping. There where a couple of decent heats but not an awful lot too get excited about Ionly hope Tuesday is an improvement . I fast forwarded through all the drivel so never really heard Stadler & Waldorf get confused about the scores , deleted it straight away after watching it certainly not a meeting I'd want to se again. Watched the far more IOM TT highlights afterwards so at least some of tv viewing was enjoyable
  2. If they refuse to ride they'd get banned, better to ride under protest , of course that is IF these unconfirmed rumours are true
  3. Good strong performance from Berwick last night with everyone getting in amongst the points, shame about the 15 though, I'd liked to have seen 60 points on the board but I guess that's just getting picky. I thought Ludo was very disappointing that's probably one of the worst performances I've seen from an opposing No1 in a long time and Ashley had a night he won't want to remember, on the positive side Tero had a great night and Nico putin a decent shift sometimes guests don't always work but The Diamonds can have no complaints about him . Tonight will be a totally different prospect though and I'd imagine Newcastle will be looking for quick revenge for that drubbing.
  4. Its a crazy situation to get into , Saturday night and no speedway is a complete waste to me , especially as we head in to the height of summer and the school holidays having loads of blank dates , fans will drift away and find something else .
  5. Can't afford the bus fare from Cornhill and it's too far for a motability scooter
  6. Free sports is on Channel 422 on sky
  7. The time to worry is when he starts arguing with himself
  8. After his spill in ht 2 ( which thankfully he walked away from ) I'd say John will be needing a new bike
  9. I wasn't expecting to to be there to be honest
  10. With John Lindman missing last nights meeting through illness, does that mean he's out for Thursday night as well ?
  11. I though I heard it mentioned last night that Greaves was booked for both fixtures
  12. A lot easier a win than I had imagined. Great stuff from David & Jye with good back up from Kevin and Dany . Took Sheffield a while to get going and leaving the T/S ride until ht 14 didn't help them much. James Shane's maybe didn't score a lot but you can't fault his effort i for one was quite impressed with him , it will be a far stiffer test tomorrow night v Newcastle.
  13. Have you saved some of your dole money to allow you to attend ?
  14. For some reason , Roy seems to have labelled John Lindman with " The Enforcer " nickname
  15. One or two decent races last night on a track that seemed to offer the riders something. As predicted Rory was unstoppable and Barker gave his usual "Death or Glory " display , I was quite surprised by Hartel's performance didn't expect him to do quite so well , as for the rest they where pretty forgettable, didn't expect much from Heels and I was proved right. Good night from The Bandits reserves especially " The Enforcer " , Howe and Spud still seem a bit underpowered. A similar score next Saturday night Vs The Tigers please , not sure we'll do much in the return of this fixture on Thursday night
  16. Never mind you could always watch The Eurovision Song Contest & You can give me a wave as I drive through Cornhill on my way to Berwick
  17. If the form Roo boy Rory was in last night continues tonight Berwick will be in for a tough night
  18. Looks like this could be another tight meeting, we'll need all 7 riders to be scoring points if we're looking to win , Starke is a decent choice as guest & and I'm sure Ben will be as good value as he usually is , always entertaining to watch
