Well whatever the outcome fair play to them for getting the meeting started so quickly, here's hoping they get a break with the weather. Great pass by Holder, got his mojo back by the looks of it.

Greg Hancock How Good.?

I'd go for the Danish demolition because the 4 Gregs would still be around to watch another day, NP would be no more. -
Greg Hancock How Good.?

It's possibly my comment in another thread you are referring to, it was meant as a defence of Greg in response to some fool having a dig at him. I used the example of Ivan because is at the very top table in terms of the history of the sport, yet like you I never felt the thrill when watching him ride, he was such a perfectionist and was seldom beaten from the gate. Greg displays the same traits in terms of his dedication to succeeding but he also possesses that Californian charisma that most of us speedway followers have grown to love since the mid 70's. When Greg was paired up with Billy H they produced plenty of exciting racing and were great to watch in full flight, just think how long it is since we saw those 2 blasting round Brandon, yet Greg is still doing the business, fair play to him. I hope he can keep injury free and enjoy his riding, he's a good World Champion and seems a thoroughly decent bloke. -
The Trouble With Speedway Is, Too Many Things Can Go Wrong

Well I think in Kings Lynn's case it could be the change of race night, I'm sure it never used to happen on a Saturday. -

So was Ivan Mauger but he's still considered right up there amongst the greats of the sport. I love to watch exciting riders but I wouldn't knock riders like Greg for being steady and successful. -

Why in Philip's defence, has he bought himself a tractor? He gets a lot of flack but I don't recall anyone blaming him for track prep. -

Doesn't really matter though does it, he's the reigning World Champion, can't get much better than that. Been an entertaining meeting but let's face it after the last 2 it didn't have to be much to show an improvement. Here's hoping Tai can keep forging ahead in the points race by winning the final. -
Well since you're raisin the subject..
-
Great shout Philip, hope you backed your instinct, well done. Yes, we call him AJ.
-
There is no point in it whatsoever, I also find it tiresome.
-
So it is, Prague, thanks for the heads up, can't wait.
-
Absolutely, if they don't abandon it soon there will be nothing to talk about for the next fortnight.

If only Carlsberg made speedway, just imagine. Brahma for me with a slice of lime, it's pop really but it does numb the pain.

I don't think I could watch these GP's without having beer in

Still in Warsaw waiting for Heat 13.
-
Not surprising really. As long as there's some decent racing, they do owe us after the last debacle.

Decent night's speedway on Sky, If I lived up that way I would definitely consider going to watch speedway @ Glasgow on a regular basis, I know there wasn't much passing but the riding was spectacular, very reminiscent of visits to the Shay on a good few Saturday nights. Andre Compton the stand out rider for me, always love watching him ride, a real thrills n spills merchant and usually has plenty of speed.
-
Who to? Why wouldn't they listen Baz?
-
Now I feel guilty complaining, at least I only missed out on the decent racing
-
Wasn't it. I feel like I'm just going through the motions watching it because it's speedway, happens too many times but I keep watching, just in case. Maybe I'll always be in this state of limbo, can't imagine giving up on it.

Not when it's raining.

No worries, I was just returning the compliment and making conversation. Cheers Alan.

I don't have a favourite overseas team but I would like to know why your club use the mouse logo, how did that come about?

Ah right, well it must be poor then if it doesn't measure up to this place. Great ride by Sundstrum there, under plenty of pressure from Laguta.
