Halder, Dwyer, Walker and Carr are all decent prospects even if they're not going to be world beaters. Davey was needed to add some decent scoring to the side. In reality it's only RTD who's going nowhere and at least this isn't a team of has beens, like a couple of NL sides have am influx of.

Birmingham Vs Kent - June 22nd (national Trophy Final)
Islander15 replied to lucifer sam's topic in National League Speedway
Not strictly true that is it! Kent's strength, compared to Birmingham, is their strong heat leader trio and are still unlikely to outscore their reserves even at home. So they need a proper number 1 to maintain that advantage in order to get the victory. -
Eastbourne have switched the two dates round because they know the cup tie needs to get done. Rather than be selfish and just wait for Brennan, so they should be applauded tbf.

Isle Of Wight Wightlink Warriors 2016
Islander15 replied to SpeedwayPortal's topic in National League Speedway
Live updates of home meetings will now be provided on twitter at @WarriorsOnTrack and on the website WightWarriors.co/live. Great to see the club embracing social media and realising that not all of their supporters are able to turn up every week -

Sophie probably wasn't happy because it didn't lead her into another question! -
He starts on a 6.00, which is his PL assessed 3.00 doubled. Also he has a British passport as he now has dual nationality.

Peterborough site says he won't be back for them until July 12th. -
Tbf there is basically no-one out there to replace Knuckey on that average. That's why Cradley have used R/R for nearly 2 months now as they've waited for Andrews to get fit, whilst Buxton still use R/R for Jones who's barely ridden all season.
-
How much NL racing do you watch? It's not bad racing with Brits only. Plus one foreigner per team wouldn't make any difference to the standard of racing because they're only in 4 heats per meeting and the best rider often gates to win anyway!
-
Why would he leave Mildenhall?
-
Have you looked at them? They won away to Coventry and drew with Cradley.
-
It still wouldn't be fair because that would explicitly go against the rules, which clearly states you only use averages from 2011 onwards. That would just make the Hall decision consistent but both illegal.

Hall's situation has been discussed here http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=81665

Having never been to Derwent Park, is there adequate space to push your bike off the track without impeding onto the pitch? -
You're a bit late here. If you're referring to Rutherford's replacement then they've already signed him and Chris Hay is very British!

He was ill last week, that's probably what you're thinking of. -
Tbf to Buxton they gave fans a good 2-3 weeks notice compared to Stoke's 1 week. Which is even more gratuitous when you consider that Stoke have known of their issue for months.
-
Have you lot seen the forecast though??

Scunthorpe Scorpions 2016?
Islander15 replied to Paul Johnson's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Rob said a couple of weeks ago that they've already spoken to Porsing but there's too many fixture clashes.
