  1. The first big crash that started this chain of events was v PBoro on the 23rd so not really an option unles Riss is clairvoyant
  2. Robbo has always been a joy to watch and possibly my favourite 'non Witch' British Speedway has been lucky to have Robbo and would benefit greatly if it could find a few more All the best for the future
  3. Always enjoyed watching Robbo race - quite possibly my favourite non Witch Guts determination and no little skill too No doubt that a speedway with 'more Robbos' would be in a better place Good luck to him for the future
  4. Id prefer to concentrate on the positives as to why/who the trophy is awarded to rather than list why others wont/dont get it
  5. I have no great desire to defend Gavan but I see his meaning 'As well' in the sense that a 2nd event occurred with relevance to Poole and not that the events referred to were the same ie pulling out if the meeting
  6. Well if Belle Vue get a guest performance for Riss like Starke as the Witches did tonight then they would be just as well to go with 6 riders as Shovvy suggests
  7. Managed one visit - fantastic little track Shame it couldnt stay in place
  8. Just wanted to publically thank Nathan Greaves for making the effort to return our fans trophy despite being injured and not travelling to meetings Thanks also to James Sarjeant for playing courier on Thursday Much appreciated fellas Both would certainly be welcomed back as a Witch by The Massif
  9. Determined effort and deserved win for the Bandits A familar 'running out of steam' end to a meeting from the Witches How Starke was left in 14 was beyond belief
  10. Could be seen as a nod to the old and a nod to the new.....
  11. Done first 3 heats on there but they now have texter so will leave them to do it from here
  12. I will look to post the heat results in the updates thread (not texting direct) Hopefully can construct the main scorechart from that
  13. Highs - Seeing the u19 final at Ipswich was certainly a high Some real talent there right through the field with Drew Kemp and Leon Flint particularly exciting prospects outside the obvious Dan Bewley. I just hope Ipswich can ensure Drew sticks around as he wont be short of offers. If not that will be 2019s first low!! Robert Lambert making a big leap forward also for me Lows - Injuries of course. At Ipswich there have been plenty -almost too many to list but with Danny King a big concern for me Hope also that the big knock (understatement) for Dan Bewley doesnt stall his progress too much
  14. If he is now genuinely not wanting ride then that facility should now be avaialble for Danny at Scunny Of course that would mean a ban for him and season over at NL level as well - cant see him wanting that Of course it could be that the SCB now dont believe it to be a genuine request even if he is saying it and are therefore refusing to reverse the decision from the first attempt to drop him - like Peter and the wolf
  15. With it all going on so late did the final laps by Leigh Lanham take place?
  16. I meant who made play offs rather than choice in play offs Eg if they were more concerned about Worky go all out for win to knock them out If Edinburgh more of a challenge make sure lose at Worky to make it harder for Edinburgh (although they have done themselves in now!) Have similar situation for Starke guesting at Ipswich tonight - he scores well Berwick lose and are out. He scores poorly and Berwick may win by pipping a more fancied team and make it easier for his Glasgow team already qualified....
  17. Sounds like someones feeling a bit worried to me.......
