  1. Can you still get 'tins' of chocolate oop north (stole that from Starman) In the modern south its all plastic containers now The Massif have a huge pic n mix courtesy of mrbeerhut - youre welcome to come and dig in
  2. Having Sedgemen in the side felt like even longer
  3. Looks like Richie may still be needed at Glasgow.....
  4. What if Worrall now signs elsewhere and the redclaration is refused?
  5. Listed to return to the Worky side at Ipswich on Thursday
  6. https://ipswichwitches.co/preview-ipswich-v-workington-championship/ Hume Campton and Proctor all listed to ride so only 1 guest out of 14 after all
  7. I shall be sure to ask Nicki why he lied to me when I next see him Perhaps it shows Leigh (and all of us) are older than we think and feel We were talking about when Leigh first started and how he made do with bits and pieces he could pick up in comparison to many starting today who want paid for vans and a stable of brand new kit etc It doesnt make them any faster whilst Leigh with his old Wal Phillips (sic) was posting times within a second of the main meeting at 14......
  8. Possibly against Bach R/R Bewley Klindt Guest Jensen Bickley
  9. Cam will be out - mandatory 9 day abscence for his concussion (will have to miss Edinburgh Friday too)
  10. What damage did Ty sustain last night? Saw he withdrew but havent seen any news on his injuries
  11. Ah well at least I get another months revision on kings and queens
  12. Agree and in line their costs also need to reduce Was speaking only yesterday with Nicki Lanham. Its not that ling ago that Leigh started and at that time a carb fir example could be picked up for £40 where as now you can be looking at £700 Even allowing for standard inflation thats an extrordinary increase
  13. There is certainly a fair arguement for that Can any team attracting 4-600 attendances really make even a further reduced Championship level pay?
  14. Tend to agree on the first point Possibly Worky hadnt had enough home meetings for his new figure to be effective.....
  15. Josg G is closer to 9 at Championsip level on his own..... Even by your example of not much difference Berwick cant make it pay at £15 let alone your suggesed £12
  16. Didnt say they werent - but those sides need a further 5 point reduction for the financials suggested
  17. 100% sure myself Thats because at the stage they signed there had been no new green sheets issued for 2018 so their 2017 figure was still the most recent As soon as a revised set of averages were issued in 2018 the 2017 figures were null and void for cross league signings and a conversion of the most recent used (1.3) Ironically when the rolling average for those riders is revised each month it then does include the 2017 meetings! Example Nathan Greaves 2017 Championship average 4.57 joined Redcar on 3.89 converted from his revised Wolves Prem average Rode 3 meetings averaged 3.5 and his July Championship GSA is 4.37 as it now includes his 2017 again!
  18. That Berwick side is as expensive/strong as their current 7 for which they charge £15 (already lower than the norm) and do not make any money Cutting the price to £12 would just reduce the income (and increase losses) by £1500 a meeting - why would they vote for one big league like that? The BV and Wolves sides would have reduced income of £6000+ per meeting and I dont see a reduction in strength in line with that for them either Going by current Championship averages/equivalents those teams (IMO) are about 5 points too strong for the financial elements of your proposal
