Too young to have any significant memories of him but one of the long list of local riders that made the club at ipswich what it was as it established itself Perhaps overshadowed by those higher profile stars but still every bit a part of a team - the type of rider that was (and still is) vital to making speedway work

Ben had an insane amount of natural talent and was a super quick rider What he lacked was discipline and application and perhaps the self belief Wonderful to watch in full flow but equally frustrating when it wasnt going so well

Should be a comfortable win for the Panthers despite an upturn in Witches fortunates over the last few weeks since the team changes The big question mark for Boro is the fact that it is the first home meeting for 3 weeks which could cause an issue depending on the track prep That said I dont expect even a point for the Witches ah well at least Bruv will be on the winning side either way

I hope youre right Baldy but a point (team or Wally) would be more than could be rightly expected With Morris perhaps still a bit 2nd hand and Kyle still looking a bit tentative we could see this as a bit of an opportunity but I would be surprised big time if we win
