Yep - normal adult price £16 Normal programme price £2.50 All kids were free last night (usually £4 outside school holidays) -
That was my estimate Cookie. The main back straight stand has 3500 seats and looked 3 quarter full. The home straight stand and to bend 1 was full. Bend 1 and 2 terracing and vack straight below main stand upto bend 3 was 10+ deep all round. Thats about 200 metres. So over 2000 in main stand 500 home stand and towards bend 1 2000 on main terracing Thats how I estimated it.

Heres hoping you and a few more like you are tempted back for the cup match on the 13th (and then the final ☺) and again in 2018.It was a fantastic atmosphere last night despite being ultimately fruitless for the Witches. -
As Kyle headed across the line into lap 4 leading heat 8 the tie was very much still there for the taking. The 4-2 there wouldve put us 8 up and with some momentum. Unfortunately that all changed by the exit of turn 2 and really at that point it was all over. To be honest I wouldve traded any chance we still had to win anyway to see them all get up and walk away - it was a sickener of a crash.

It could even be more. Main stand has 3500 seats and was 3 quarters full. Packed in home straight stand. Bends 1 and 2 terraces and along backstraight 10 or more deep - and the Foxhall terraces are big. -

First race started on time at 7.45 as always 😜 Watched by about 4500 people 😲😲 -
I think many Ipswich fans felt a bit let down by Scott accepting the booking. But professional sport isnt about sentiment and he was the right choice for the Tigers and it was right for him to ride. There were very few initial boos bar a few pantomime efforts BUT that changed BIG TIME when he pulled off a shocking move to fence Nathan down the back straight in heat 1 😲 It was uncalled for and was the catalyst for the reaction through the rest of the night. I actually think Scott loved it and thrived on it because he is a whole hearted character who wants to win. It certainly ramped up the atmosphere and added to the night. Speedway needs more of this needle in many way.
