  1. Well done Cookie. Could this be the breakthrough he/we have been hoping/waiting for?
  2. Bet he wishes there had been. All the best to him. Sounds a nasty one from reports on updates site.
  3. I presumed you knew that - move to England 😀
  4. I think saying he has no interest is a misrepresentation of his comments. He has said he would be delighted to be considered if he felt he had the full backing of the British fans. Without that he said it wouldnt feel right and he wouldnt want to be in position. I think its fair to say the general reaction of fans has been mixed at best.
  5. Sounds great to me - Id settle for the same on and off the track right now 😃
  6. And I thought Willie was the one that may just pass out and sleep in my car rather than go into the b&b 😆😉 (SB had left an hour before) The bar was like a united nations summit with Scotsman representing the East side and Baldy from Essex as well as us locals. Wish I had a set of those translating headphones for Willie 😉 Got to admire your dedication in following your team. The least your hosts can do is make you welcome, buy you a drink and give you a lift at the end of the night 👏👍 Top night all round
  7. This is the classic 'quirk' situation of Speedway. Tungate starts at around 9 and falls to 5 Graversen starts around 3 and improves to 5. But when it comes to who stays Tungate is the better option despite not doing his job whilst Graversen has been better than many expected. Success is all about riders improving their average so Tungate now has 2-3 possible/probable upswing in his average with little or no chance of dropping further (especially if drops to res) Graversen is most unlikely to score more and may well tail off after his positive start. Similar comparison could be set with a Starke/Graversen head to head. Harsh but thats the reality of the choices.
  8. Can only hope for the sake of those that attend that the meeting is at least half as interesting as some of the predictions 😊
  9. seems to be that they are making it up as they go along. IMO it should all set out in black and white before the season started. Supplementary regs a month in etc is poor. It was only changed that the team build total would stay at 40 in Championship all season a few days ago. 👎
  10. that score and scenario would mean neither of them take the tactical ride.Very specific prediction 👍
  11. only for initial declarations. There was some speculation there would be no multiplier but seems it will still be 1.4. In reality it should be 1.25 for the difference in original team build 40/50.
  12. I think the answer is yes. Initial declaration had to have Brit at 7 in averages. There after just 2 Brits with no specification of position.
  13. of course - I was thinking they had completed enough for new figures to be coming into effect.
  14. Does the reduction still apply?Thought it was for initial team building only and not when redeclaring.
  15. very good points - agree that whilst the contribution of Shanes won us the meeting the performances of Danyon at home so far had been just as impressive. I wouldve expected similar from Danyon and certainly enough for it still to be a Witches win.
  16. there was no redeclaration only 28 day injury replacement.Kyle is in the Poole 1-7 after the 28 days and Kerr is out. Kyle is back riding so wouldnt be a facility avaialble even if you want one. Kyle looked fine yo me and rode pretty well. Unlucky in his first (fell/laid down) when looked like Sedge was getting into a tangle in front if him. 2 good heats including a smooth and fast win in the middle. Looked like he had a nibble at the start of 14 and penalised himself. Was fast enough but couldnt quite manouvere a pass.Get him back in - he do you proud like he always does. 👍
  17. Every Witches fan was shouting 'sign him up' last night - produced a match winning performance. If only he didnt have those other weekend commitments 😣
  18. Says a lot when you are disappointed not to have stopped Glasgow getting point. Danny is very unlikely to score that low again at home all year. Lots of issues for him tonight. Kyle and Justin will both take a couple of meetings to settle. Cam excellent again. Rory solid again.Connor looks tenatative but will improve. James Shanes was superb. If there is any way to sign him it has to be done. So with all that going on to still win and in all honesty with relative comfort bodes well. Glasgow after all are a very good side and wont be too far away from the mix when the prizes are handed out. Great to meet up with Paulco and Willy again - apologies to the bar staff waiting to lock up 😆
