  1. This is the part that seems most relevant IMO It seems that even where lessons have been learned now a further problem exists. It reads to me that with the scheme used then it would only be possible to use in alternate years. What would be good to know is what specific sponsorship scheme is referred to and if any other scheme can be used to replace it if a rider is affected.
  2. Thanks for that - although my question was more specifically about any reaction to his wrist injury.
  3. I posted a similar request for info on the Aussie U21 thread but no reply as yet. Perhaps those that 'do Twitter' could enlighten us as to whether there is anything on there(??)
  4. draft riders wiil stay at reserve all year and wont be given an average at all.
  5. Lost your happy pills mate?! lol So long as the correct process is followed then no problems. Relax and prepare to enjoy another season with a young and exciting competetive team.
  6. Good research Womble. I will play devils advocate as a pendaintic border agency worker deciding whether to stamp the Doyle visa. Point 1 - The supplementary work must be at the same level or on the shortage occupation list. DECLINE Point 3 - The additional hours must be outside the normal working hours of the original sponsorship. DECLINE
  7. Well done to the finalists. Any news about Cam? Seemed to struggle a bit and then didnt rake his final ride. All OK with the wrist?
  8. It could all be a load of bull though! I hope it is sorted satisfactorily. The PL will be the poorer fot it if not.
  9. The figure suggested was approx £400 per application which in itself seems reasonable. The significant expense was that to switch between employers on this type of visa meant paying this fee each time (so potentially each meeting) If this was correct then it would make riding for more than one team impractical.
  10. although some have intimated that it would be expensive if riding for 2 clubs due to switching admin fees.
  11. I believe(see what I did there!)that he will be applying to renew upon his return next month as his doesnt expire til March. I understand there is a 4 week window to reapply and you have to be in the UK at the time.
  12. Good luck then Cam and stay safe. Looks like a competitive line up and should be a good un.
  13. Dryml will up his ave IMO. 10 at home 7 away would be my guess - 8.5 overall. Decent signing and a very good team overall.
  14. Lindgren and Kerr Doolan and Bjerre Howarth and Harrison
  15. Barker and Heeps Tungate and Risager Cook and Sneddon Worrall and Kerr Doyle and Josh G Lawson and Bach
  16. shouldnt be a problem given he hasnt applied/renewed in the last 12 months......unless some other obscure rule crops up!
  17. Great to see Leigh sorted. Solid ultra professional and a great team man. All the best mate! The return of Tay much less expected. Terrible luck with injuries but if he can come back without being troubled by them then he could be a bargain signing. I think Bruv still has the Chuggington scooter all set up and ready to go if you need it!
  18. Lets see who the new team manager is and then it may get moving again.
  19. Re the Brum/WK tennis match - you are both right!! In the EL the racers are in general better(faster) but in the PL the races are often better(closer) Both can be/are great. Enjoy them for what they are - the same but different!
  20. So that seems to make Blackbird an Ipswich asset ( as is the other Boro reserve) Quite ironic then that they will both ride against the Witches on Good Friday whilst our own reserve will be elsewhere with his parent club!
  21. Im sure that was his final rolling average. He may qualify for a reduction as he has missed a whole season.
  22. Looks like we wont be seeing Bjarne or Bridger for a start so not all bad!
