I'm amazed that since the demise of the One off world final that Onesport or another promoter has not assembled the Worlds greatest riders in one off invitational event.Imagine that line up with a huge cash prize at,Bydgoszcz,Torun,Gorzow or Lezsno.

They should do, they are virtually giving the tickets away.

I've asked this question before what as the F.I.M ever done for speedway ? I'll now ask the question what has the All Party Parliamentary Group ever done for speedway ! Yes we know they can put on a few sandwiches at Westminster and give 150 speedway bosses the chance to hob knob with MP's we have never heard of but what exactly have this group done in there time in existence ? Now they are giving out meaningless awards to further increase the mutual backslapping. Tai Woffinden being given the outstanding achievement award ! Obviously they decided to overlook his Elite league form which was nothing short of shocking,which statistically made him the Elite Leagues biggest under achiever. I will stand corrected if this Party has achieved major things I've not heard of but seeing the pictures and the report in the Speedway Star it looks nothing more than than a self appreciating jolly boys club.

All we seemed to be learning is that some want the tactical ride, some want the tactical substitute and some want nothing at all.Put yourself in the promoters shoes ! What are they to do? , they can't please everyone.Whatever the outcome of the AGM. lets hope that all those who didn't get their wish will not simply just choose to walk away from the sport

Got to agree with the guy who wrote a letter to the speedway star this week.When Leigh Adams was weaving his magic at Swindon nobody was moaning about the paintwork.I went to the playoff final in 2009,it was ram packed,didn't put anyone off attending that night.

Makes you wonder just how many debacles you can have in one season at Coventry !

Think it was Tony Mole or nothing ! As for Cradley the GRA were prepared to deal with Tony Mole, would they be equally agreeable to deal with the Cradley promoters,not sure if Tony was offering to pay off the current debt, plus Tony Mole now owns all the plant required to curate the track and would the rent be applicable to what Cradley are currently paying now.

On the other hand the team the year before topped the regular league,had a semi final against Wolves,a final against Poole all one one of the best tracks in the UK and they still ended up owing the riders,team manager money,all with a wealthy promoter,the knowledgeable Drury's on board,Phil Morris as a good team manager along with a good commercial manager..It begs the question if you can't make money with those set of circumstances is there any money to be made ?

If you look at Charlie's CV you will see she is extremely clever and I've no doubt is very articulate,which begs the question why she comes across as so wooden when in front of the camera at the speedway.

How many dates equates to a full fixture list in the National League,7 home fixtures plus maybe 2 play offs.Its hardly taxing within a 28 week season.

Surely having Cradley there on a Tuesday with a crowd similar to that of Wolves on a Monday,it is more profitable than having the stadium closed.As a Wolves supporter,you have to ask if Ladbrokes can do without Cradley then maybe in the future they can do without Wolves.What I can't understand is why this has come out of the blue,only a month ago the talk from the promoters was of moving up a league and increasing the amount of dates not reducing them.Were the promotion as taken by surprise like the fans or did they know this was coming.
