No because they no longer ride for Poole ! Why should Poole have their team artificially bloated with ringers just to make British speedway look credible.

I'm sure if this event had been a success Phil Rising would have been lauding praise on his colleges at BSI, instead of immediately distancing them from blame in the aim of PR and damage limitation.You run the series take some responsibility instead of trying to cover your own backside all the time !

Did you see Piratana vs Vetlanda in the Swedish elite league recently.The tac sub rule allowed Piratana to track the pairing of Darcy Ward and Greg Hancock in 4 heats out of the 13 heats available,6 rides each, amazingly they mugged Vetlanda by 2 after Ward/Hancock maximums in 14 and 15.Hardly fair !

Another downside of the single night Elite League speedway is that on that night its probable it will clash with a live TV match on the box.History tells us that significantly less people tend to attend when their club is at home on TV. How many more will take the option of watching a top of the table match instead of attending their own track on that same night ? If they do then its stuffed !

I could understand criticism of the BSPA if everyone was singing from the same hymn sheet.This topic is less than 2 pages long and already we have had,Get the best riders back,ditch the best riders,go to a set race night,use 2 race nights,Go for 1 big league,go for 2 leagues,have promotion and relegation,promotion and relegation wont work,keep the draft,ditch the draft,bring back the KO cup,don't bring back the KO cup,stop doubling up,get rid of the tactical ride etc.You ask 10 people what they want they come up with 10 different answers ! Unless we can all agree on a way forward doesn't seem much point lambasting the BSPA for not implementing the personal wishes of 20 separate posters.

Seems the good people at Speedway Star don't see a poor crowd for the Speedway World Cup final in Poland as newsworthy . Maybe none of their reporters noticed !

Also plenty of empty seats priced at 75zl (£15) Bydgoszcz is also within 3 hours travelling of 7 top Polish league clubs including Torun,Gorzow,Zielena Gora and Leszno who all pull in excess of ten thousand per home meeting .Still not buying the boycott theory ?

The Swedish league is being shafted to make the Elite league look like its remotely competitive.The fact that "Middlo" is dillusionly talking it up in the Star as a 'trophy' that he would like to add to his collection says it all.Back In the real world Poole's current top 4 would have no chance against the Polish and Swedish teams !

GB favourite for the bronze,they have taken care of the Aussies comfortably once already !

I don't go to a speedway meeting just to wave a flag for 2 hours.I go to watch good racing,something this track didn't produce.Sorry I'm only calling it as it is ! sorry if it offends people. If you thought the racing was great then fine ! Problem is what I saw on Saturday wouldn't encourage me or others to go next year, this was an example why crowds are dropping in British speedway because the product they are watching is regularly not good enough.

If there was nothing wrong with the track why could the World Champion and current GP leader not make an inch on a rookie Premier league rider (Manzares) Suppose if your happy with that quality of racing, then every things ok. Must admit I expected a lot more,maybe I expected too much ! Watching on TV it was pretty mundane !

Why when there is a poor speedway meeting on the TV at world championship level do people come on here justifying it because "Wembley finals were not that good" Forget Wembley this is Kings Lynn the best track in the Elite league with the one of the best track curators.On a perfect night of weather in front of a large crowd they could not prepare a track anywhere near worthy of the occasion,in previous years this event at Kings Lynn has been fantastic, this year not,I'd prefer to ask the question why ? rather than bang on about Wembley finals which were over 30 years ago !

All the other teams are using their 2014 riders,why should Poole be different because the Elite league is weaker than Poland and Sweden.All we ask is, it is what it is, if the Elite league is weaker so be it ! Maybe teams from Turkey,Belgium,Scotland and Poland should all be able to strengthen in footballs champions league next year just so it looks better ! I'm amazed Poole would want to bend the rules anyway.

Just a shame we do not have a fit Chris Holder,Ryan Fisher and a Russian team who would have qualified if they had not put 2 fingers up at BSI/FIM.Under these conditions Team GB,s standing in world speedway might be a bit clearer,I'm expecting a narrow Team GB win with Pearson shattering your eardrums,land of hope and glory playing at the track,Roscoe fist pumping.Its a shame because the World cup was my highlight of the season,but with teams weakened by injury (Australia) and rider withdrawal (Russia and Sweden) also seeding the hosts to the final (wrong).Lets be honest Poland and Denmark could track 2 teams to reach the final,in recent years finishing 3rd was a badge of honour,not any more,nothing stopping Team GB finishing 3rd or 4th this year with a team which would have struggled to get to the race off 5 years ago.

The teams are just been manufactured so that it looks close,Ward or Holder ride for POOLE not both,by sugar coating it you are not getting a true reflection in the strength of the rival leagues.
