In any other league Chris’s star would still be shining but in the best league in the world the loss of a few fractions of a seconds is the difference between a top scorer and an also ran. when interviewed we hear about setups etc, but the crew can tweak it as they like but it’s down to rider reactions and Chris can’t get back to where he was. Must be extremely frustrating for him and others having similar issues, as young riders battle in front of him. Would be a great asset to league one, Sweden and GB next season where he is still very popular. Would have him back at Poole in a heartbeat.

At this rate they could ride 30 heats and Torun wouldn’t win one. Janowski, Woffinden, Laguta way too strong for anything Torun have. I hope it’s Magics year in the GP series. Looks by far the best rider in the world and is fantastic to watch.

Torun haven’t even had a heat winner. Completely one sided. There are haves and have nots in this league which shouldn’t be so obvious.

Following the news that that Birmingham Speedway have temporarily suspended racing until July 1st, the Poole management would like to announce the following fixtures changes. With Birmingham due to have been the Pirates' next opponents at Wimborne Road on Wednesday 23rd June it means that there will be no meeting that week and likewise the trip to Perry Bar due this coming Wednesday (16th) has been postponed. Poole promoter Dan Ford said "having learned of Birmingham's predicament we are wholeheartedly sympathetic to their position, as they are under similar constraints to ourselves, as the current Covid restrictions on attendance has made it almost impossible for clubs to cover costs, something that every Promotion within the U.K are experiencing." As with all promoters, we are eagerly awaiting the next government announcement , due on Monday 14th June which will give us a clearer picture looking forward, but in the meantime we can confirm that our Knockout cup visit to Plymouth has been rescheduled to Tuesday 22nd June, a date that has become free following Birmingham's decision and our visit to Kent on Tuesday June 29th still remains. How can there be a huge crowd at the cricket in Birmingham, but not allowed at speedway just up the road?

Why? The club will run this season, I am guessing just not under the current situation of hugely limited attendances.

What you think would happen if Zmarzlik was leading the GP series by a few points and the final round was at Cardiff. But the U.K. govt said because of high covid numbers in Poland, Zmarzlik cannot enter the U.K. oh well, never mind. There’s no precedent for moving events and he will have to try again next year? This really is totally unfair and a disgrace!

It’s an absolute disgrace that two British riders chances are completely wrecked due to covid restrictions. The round should be moved to a country were all riders in the 16 can race. Alternatively both riders are seeded through automatically.

Other stream viewers had no streaming issues whatsoever. There was no commentary for the first four heats snd no graphics but that would have required extra staff and the feed would have cost much more. General feedback was good with room for improvement. A frozen stream could well be caused by local internet provider. Last night a couple said they lost the stream while others said not a glitch all evening other than comms at the start.

Lack of riders might have been the issue.

I always prefer top flight speedway but currently there is very little difference between the leagues. Also a 6 team league is crap.
