Paul is taking up a berth that could be given to a rising star who is desperate for a team place. He is old, over weight, and his days of getting close to scoring are long gone. He really doesn’t deserve a team spit and he must know it as well. A club can be loyal to riders but really the Kent fans want to see their team be as competitive as they possibly can be and Paul should hold his hands up and say what everyone can see. Offer to be a coach and mentor to the juniors. His experience is worth more than his arse over a saddle.

Track was certainly not bumpy. Nice and smooth. New track men’s from Somerset have taken out the bumps.

As predicted a complete walk in the park for Pirates. Thank you Scotty for putting up much needed resistance. Rider of the night IMO with some excellent racing. But the rest of them should have just stayed at home. One man v Poole. And seriously. Paul Hurry? Paul has been a very good servant for British speedway over the years, being a solid second string rider. But watching a tubby middle aged man miss the gate every time and struggle at the back was not good to see. Better he gives his place up to a rising star rider who is desperate for a team spot. His time has gone.

A dry day forecast for tomorrow. Looking forward to this but think it will be a 55+ score for Pirates with Nicholls doing most of the Kent scoring.

I agree. British youngsters at reserve are the way to go. Flint has been excellent but he stiffened up on the last lap under pressure.

As a neutral this is an enjoyable meeting, with much more passing tonight than I have seen in multiple visits to Foxhall. So pleasing to see the young rising stars amongst the points. Difficult meeting to call.

Home track rider. Great at home but absent away.

Lindgren has been all over the place. Really inconsistent. Big comeback from Gora.

Great race. Lindgren mr entertainer but Gora might have got this. All down to final 2 heats.

Don’t know why the delay. Fair and aggressive move from Lindgren. This is not ping pong!

Dull winner. Gate and gone and too fast. Poor meeting overall. A shame.

Madsen finally showing how to do it. Bewley needed to be more committed to the outside. It was the only option. Victory or bust. No way Dan was getting through on the inside.

Lambert riding like he has lost interest.

Brits have crumbled on a track that offers absolutely nothing but gating and desperation trying to knock your way through up the inside. Garbage!

Madsen really messed that up chasing off the white line. Good race though.

Dirts has just started to move out in the last heat. Riders starting to come away from the white line.

All inside so far. Need an outside line to develop.
