  1. I gave up on it. Just a terrible format. Long gaps between heats, with the format so bad some riders are coming out for their third ride against ridrrs who are making their first. Bad.
  2. Every team has made changes and the rules allow that until 15th August. No changes after that date.
  3. Not allowed to bring back a rider axed in the same season.
  4. Riss is under contract and obligated to ride. Other clubs have riders who fly in just for their meetings. Woryna and Jakobsen at Poole for starters. Its a tactical move by the BV promotion. Simple as that. They call it tactical. I say its cheating. No changes after August 15th. Those are the rules.
  5. No we are looking forward to the playoff semi final. What are Swindon fans looking forward to? Belle Vue in a couple of weeks time in an all important league meeting to decide........nothing.
  6. It is blatant cheating and the MC should step in and ban Belle Vue from using guests for a rider they have axed. If Poole had made a move like this you would be screaming foul. It doesnt affect Swindon who folded like a cheap deck of cards this year. Champs to chumps. But it affects Kings Lynn. Time to stop the cheats.
  7. Exactly. Belle Vue should only be allowed one reserve, or the return of Riss.
  8. Riss isn’t injured. No replacements after August 15th. So he has been axed. There should be no facility and Belle Vue should go into the playoffs with one reserve. They simply did this to strengthen which is against the rules after 15th August.
  9. But you have never been there, so how can you say it as you see it?
  10. Its called replacing a rider after the cut off. Which is not allowed. But as it’s a reserve they just did it.
  11. And the reason they axed him. Teams should not be allowed to make any changes after August 15th, unless a reserve has an injury which is season ending. Basically Belle Vue have axed Riss for tactical reasons. They should only run with one reserve in such circumstances. Simple as that.
  12. Mike, you haven’t been very complimentary about the new Belle Vue stadium.
  13. Giving up. Just very poor. Thought the sec was poor but the delays between heats kills this stone dead. Surely the organisers must have been aware of huge delays between heats? Pitty the fans that have attended. Must be bored sensless.
  14. Shocking useless format. The cameraman is crap. Doesn’t know how to turn the camera. Misses the first bend completely.
  15. So was this Adam Ellis local track where he started? Never seen racing from this track. Looks like a simple one camera setup.
  16. Going to have a bad interlaced picture by the look of it, made worse when the camera pans. Poor as they could easily sort this out.
  17. Riders from other playoff teams cannot be used......oh hang on a minute.....
  18. Hmmm. The only way a rider can be brought in. Stinks pretty bad. Only important meetings to come and he is out of the team. If Poole had pulled this trick the forum would go into meltdown.
  19. I don’t think you will find anyone, other than starman, perhaps, who doesn’t agree that Belle Vue’s track is the best in the country, if not the world. However, any fans new to the sport since, say, it has been on Sky and BT, would not say Belle Vue are the biggest club in the country. 1. Because they have won nothing in donkeys years. Most fans who remember the halcyon days of BV are old or pushing up daisies. 2. Their crowds have not been very big. However, since moving into the new impressive stadium, there is the opportunity to change things back. Their promotion need to increase attendances one way or another, and of course their team need to start emulating Poole and start winning a lot of titles. Work to do.
