Looks like tonight could be the first rain off of the season. The band of rain predicted for 9-10 pm is going to arrive early and will be here for the evening and night. A shame for all those many travelling fans who are already well on their way, as well as the riders who have travelled from outside the UK to be here.

Can’t afford racesuits? Is that another one of the rumours the anti Poole brigade spew out as truth? Yet the winner of tonights meeting walks away with ten grand. It’s strange he cannot afford team suits yet can give away such a large sum on a whim. Perhaps, just perhaps, he can actually afford team suits but has decided he doesn’t want them this season. But that answer probably won’t fit in with the anti Poole brigade.
-
The only problem here is petty jealousy from the usual anti Poole mob who can’t stand it that Matt Ford is nearly always two steps ahead of his rivals.
-
Dan Bewley - 3, 0, 3, 0, 0, 1, 0, 0, 0, 3, 0 = 10 from 11 rides. Tell me, are you not disappointed in that? Belle Vue fans have been shouting for weeks how he is going to get a big average etc. Yet Mitchell Davey, who Swindon fans had written off before a wheel had turned, outscored him easily. Having said that there’s doubt in my mind that Bewley is a talent and will come good over the course of the season. As for Swindon’s number one. Only one heat win in 9. Not good enough. Is he KK in disguise? Nick Morris - 2, 2, 2, 1, 2, 1+1, 3 x, 1

Its not a case of who is asking. Its a fact that Matt Ford is so far ahead of his rival promoters that they don’t even know the question to ask. No rules have been broken. Nothing to see here. Time to move along and find something else to find about Poole for these saddos to bitch about.
-
Pinny, you are talking to Gavan and Brum. You are going to have to make your point simpler. Here you go. Kildemand WAS NOT a GP rider, just a reserve. He comes in on his official average. End of.
-
Definately harder to win a gp series than a one off world final where a fall or ef could end the favourites chances.
-
Neilsen was good. A great league rider, when he had pick of gate positions. In his prime on a par with Ivan and Tony, but over a period, nah.
-
Simply because of the “it was always better in the good old days” mentality. Ivan was a great rider but had advantages in league racing of gate picks etc. Tony was a better all round rider. A great gater and brilliant passer. Of course its just down to opinion.

Yes fully open but will be a nightmare to get into as all the workers will be leaving the carpark as fans arrive with one way only and temporary traffic lights as well. Traffic jams guarenteed be there early.
-
I certainly did but Trick was better than both.
-
Absolutely right Pinny. Kildemand totally legit but it doesn’t stop the usual green with envy brigade having their dig, no matter how wrong they are. I personally would want Holder over Kildemand who just gets dirty to make up for his lack of top end ability. An in form Holder is a class above.
-
Looking forward to tomorrow night and seeing speedways best ever rider, Tony Rickardsson take to the track again. Can’t wait!
-
Well Kildemand will be able to use the 70th anniversary meeting tomorrow as practice for next Fridays team opener. Hopefully CH will be back quickly to bring us back to full strength as we are vunerable with him out.
-
Don’t use common sense Matt. It goes against the grain of having a pop at Poole.
-
Unusual way of looking at it. Kildemand makes Poole weaker in my opinion and the chance for teams to take advantage before CH returns. Would have CH any day over knock me off with a fart Kildemand.

Just got back from P&P. Track looks very smoth and fast. All the boys looking very good indeed. Shansey going full throttle chucking it about. Holder doing many more laps than the others. woryna looking serious class as doest Brady. Nice to see Bjane there putting in some practice and the new youngster Freddie Jackobsen looking impressive. A good turnout of fans too. Took some footage which I will chuck up on Youtube later. As for Holder, its personal issues which have reared their head just at the wrong time and need sorting not visa issues as far as I can make out. These should be sorted hopefully in the next couple of weeks. He seemed reasonably happy there tonight.
-
Yes looks like an early change to the lineup. Holder is at p&p today.
-
Well Mitchell Davey did better than zack W. And both beat boy wonder Bewley on his home patch tonight. Expected more from Bewley to be honest. Tungate showed his UK form and Swindon showed a lack of heat winners. And both managers forgot to brief their riders about the new gardening rule. One would have thought once the first Swindon rider made the error it wouldn't have happened a second time.
-
Wolves won’t be any serious threat this season so no point worrying how we will do there. They will be just making up the numbers.
-
Can see the current Swindon lineup losing a few at home this season. Certainly not strong enough to be in with amserious shout of retaining.

Looking at my wizja tv plugin on kodi, all the sports channels still show. I can’t test as when I click on nsport for example it asks for a username and password. Mine has expired and I won’t renew just yet as it would be dead money. I have installed goldvod.tv on my kodi box but the options for buying a membership are basically diabolical. Bitcoin, and unheard of dodgy sounding sites where I wouldn’t risk anything. It says it takes ebay gift money but I don’t know how that works. Can someone who has done it put it down in simple steps with links? Widja takes paypal. Couldn’t be simpler.

The 7- The 70th anniversary meeting has been cancelled? Really? Better put it out to everyone then, though I can’t find it on the Poole website.
