  1. Wasn’t aimed at you just everybody knit picking over raceable and rideable. Boring!
  2. I am only speculating but he isn’t riding in todays pairs meeting in Poland, so why not? He has issues, granted, but seemed happy enough at p&p on Wednesday. Pretty sure it’s not a state of mind issue, so other than a visa issue, which was mentioned recently, I can’t see what else it could be. He rode for Kings Lynn last season before being sacked. He stayed in the UK. The visa would have been granted for working for Kings Lynn, so once his job was terminated did he have the right to remain in the UK? I don’t know just asking. This might have caused an issue when applying for a fresh visa. Hence the delay in not leaving the UK, for fear of not being able to get back in if he went to Poland. Or, in a worst case scenario, he might be in a position where he would have to return to Australia and apply for a fresh working visa to ride for Poole, a new employer. In which case he would be out of action for possibly months. I am speculating, nothing more. I don’t know what’s going on but the way the club are saying the issue will be rsovd in a couple of weeks leads me to believe this all stems back to last seasons sacking which has had a bad knock on effect for Chris Holder and his new club. Nigel Leahy at Poole is an expert on getting riders visas sorted out. If he can’t do it, Kildemand might well be a long term replacement if he wants the job. If not, Woffinden is waiting in the wings.
  3. Always worth taking a look at a future opposition rider to see what you are going to be up against next season.
  4. Repercussions of the Kings Lynn debacle of 2017.
  5. Too far away to give anywhere near an accurate forecast. Better idea by Wednesday night. The whole weather system can change by next friday.
  6. Poole. 1. Brady Kurtz 2. Kacper Woryna 3. Josh Grajczonek 4. Linus Sundstrom 5. Peter Kildemand 6. Mateusz Szczepaniak 7. James Shanes Somerset. 1. Jason Doyle 2. Jack Holder 3. Richard Lawson 4. Charles Wright 5. Bradley Wilson Dean 6. Jake Allen 7. Jonas Jeppersen Not sure of the Somerset team order. Looking forward to Good Friday morning at 11 am and the first action of the season. Somerset will have already ridden a meeting so will be more race fit but hopefully Matt Ford will have organised a behind closed doors practice session for the team. Doyle will obviously be a force to be reckoned with, but Pirates should really win this one, looking at the two lineups. The 7.30 return should bring in a huge crowd with many Poole fans likely to make the trip. Thoughts?
  7. Jesus wept who bloody well care if Starman got his rideable and raceable around the wrong bloody way. Its boring. Roll on Friday and sone racing.
  8. Zagar when interviewed in the clip I posted a few poss back said he was only riding Poland and the GPs. So has he priced himself out of Sweden as well as the UK?
  9. If a story is repeated often enough some believe it to be true. The downside is when the rider gets an offer from another club and his real average is revealed, it shows someone has told a few porkies.
  10. Think you might have hit the nail smack on the head.
  11. So, allegedly Zagar wanted too much, BV allegedly said no, and allegedly a line was invented that his alleged average was too high. Or is that too easy?
  12. Gordon. Thanks for clarifying there is and never was a 9 point rule. Sounds like a case of ‘if it’s repeated enough times on the forum it will become fact’. A real shame about the rain coming along at the wrong time. All that time and effort wasted. Hope the 70th dinner tonight is a huge success.
  13. Yes its ok because its been sanctioned. Kildemand has never been a gp rider. Just a reserve last year who got rounds through injuries.
  14. So you don’t know the rules but you are more than happy to slag off Ford, even though he hasn’t broken any rules, with the move for Kildemand sactioned. really, you don’t help yourself sometimes by jumping in head first slagging off Poole when you are completely wrong.
  15. Have to say the improvement in the social media and general news side of the club has improved dramatically. Twitter, facebook, website and now instagram being used to put the message out. Speedway portal also putting out good quality footage on a regular basis.
  16. My post reads clearly enough. Many BV fans were saying before the season started how well Bewley was going to do, then he delivers two rubbish performances. So much for the Bewley hype! But there’s no denying he is a talent. Might be as good as Lambert or King/Nicholls/Harris in a few years. Hope so anyway.
  17. I personally like team suits and don’t understand why we haven’t got them. Its not a financial issue. Certainly riders are easier to identify without suits but believe a team should look like a team in league meetings.
  18. They look like all teams looked before team race suits came along.
  19. That would be a real shame. Was looking forward to seeing Trick go around one more time.
  20. I am not arguing that point. I myself believe all teams should wear race suits.
  21. Why would they? Its a 70th anniversary meeting so surely will be re-arranged at a future date.
