  1. This could be very close. Or Leicester could throw down the gauntlet to the league and give us a whopping. Very tough meeting to predict. Although Poole are favourites to finish top, there are places like Leicester and Rye House where any team will struggle to come away with anything. I shall be there regardless, and hope to see the wider Leicestertrack produce better racing than I have see on my previous visits.
  2. Fair enough stand corrected. Thought he was a 28 day replacement. But the problem won’t arise anyway. Scores will be monitored with any sense.
  3. And my proof in point. An imbecilic post where he shows himself up to be as thick as I thought he was. Gavan, Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than speak and remove all doubt. I am afraid you really have made a pillock of yourself, for the umteeth time on here. Will you never learn? I guess not.
  4. Yep. It didn’t rain during the day in Wolverhampton, there was a small shower in Longbeach, California and Poole didn’t postpone yesterday morning. The forecast today was partially correct but the showers this morning were more bandied together and heavier than originally predicted last night. No chance of the meeting going ahead once they had hit their target. What makes me chuckle is that some imbeciles on here really don’t know what “forecast” means. Whilst rain radar shows what is actually happening and is fact, a forecast is a prediction. We can only predict with a certain percentage of accuracy what the weather is going to do in the days ahead. However, anyone with a brain can see exactly what is happening at that moment with rain radar. But I am quite possibly talking way over the heads of quite a few on here.
  5. Kildemand is a 28 day replacement, meaning he can be replaced by Holder regardless of what his average is.
  6. So we roll on to next week and another attempt to start our season. Pirates travel to Leicester for our first league meeting of the season. A very tough fixture for both clubs, who are expected to be two of the playoff teams. Leicester look a very good team and their fans and promotion will be expecting to win this one. They have already had a meeting at home where they saw off a fairly determined Somerset side, and the look of the lions side is impressive. 1. Martin Vaculik 8.00 2. Krystian Pieszczek 6.5 3. Danny King 6.66 4. Michael Palm-Toft 5. Hans Andersen 7.75 6. Kyle Newman 4.86 7. James Sarjeant 2.56 1. Brady Kurtz 8.08 2. Josh Grajczonek 7.34 3. Kacper Woryna 4.65 4. Linus Sundstrom 7.22 5. Peter Kildemand. 6. Mateusz Szczepaniak 4.54 7. James Shanes 2.88 Should be a really good meeting and these two could easily be in the playoff final. Both Newman and Andersen will be wanting to put one over their old club, and Vaculik, King and Pieszczek are quick guys. let’s hope the weather plays fair and we are treated to something a bit special. Thoughts?
  7. Holder can’t ride yet, can he? Haven’t heard the problem has yet been rectified.
  8. Pain in the ass these rainoffs. Off to Bassano on the 26th April until the 3rd May. Thought I wouldn’t miss a meeting but Somerset v Poole has already been re-arranged while I am away and we have a spare date on the 26th April at home (In the fixture list) which is free for re-arranged fixtures) Might be missing a couple of meetings as well as Lynn away on the 25th of this month. 12.35 pm right now and raining hard here in Poole. Never known a season starting like this, ever. Though I was at a Swindon v Poole meeting a few years ago which got abandoned because of snow.
  9. Hopefully not. But probably next Monday at Leicester.
  10. I have been a subscriber to sportsmania for nearly 2 years. Couldn’t be without it. Fantastic app. Was a member of Wijka for over a year with no issues. You pays your money you take your chance but the worst you are going to lose is about 30-40 quid with the most expensive membership if they are busted. You can always buy a monthly for £7. Price of a couple of Costas. If people are happy watching on cricfree with crap quality and dozens of adverts to click away that’s their choice. I would rather watch in HD on a big screen tv with no buffering.
  11. No suprise. Absolutely tipped it down for an hour. Gutted for the riders and fans but at least this early call off has stopped any Wolves fans from having a wasted journey. Looks like a night of Champions League footy. Roll on next Monday at Leicester and the next rainoff.
  12. Peeing down with very strong blustery winds at 10.20am. Due to pass through but has damage been done? Hoping the track has been packed down hard so the rain will run off. A much better forecast for later today.
  13. Look out you will have MacCafrey after you posting that.
  14. Looking at the radar actuals, there's no way were are going to dodge all these very heavy showers coming through. Fingers crossed the track can take it.
  15. Perhaps you should understand the difference between a forecast and what actually happened in post event rain radar traces. Education, eh?
  16. Morning all. Latest forecast is very heavy showers pushing through this morning to leave a dry late afternoon and evening. Depends I guess if we suffer a direct hit with one of these deluges to the track. Fingers crossed we see our first meeting of the season.
  17. Yes can view on an ipad or pc. I only have an ipad but use puffin browser which supports flash. Each channel has an sd and hd stream. Far superior to the free stuff out there like cric. Could bear the buffering and clicking off the adverts. You can stream this and watch on your tv in hd. The reason the seller has only 4 sales on ebay is because he is selling illegal streams. Ebay probably keep blocking him and he has to open new accounts. I bought through ebay and got an automated code instantly, which I entered and was instantly active. It’s up to you how you want to join there are several methods. But for UK citizens I found ebay gift the simplest. Just paid through paypal. You could stick to cric.tv and all that perlaver but this is far, far superior in every aspect. Up to you. There’s another thread in this section where stewmac joined and is pleased with what he sees.
  18. The ebay voucher is now available. Go get it before someone else does.
  19. Have a safe journey. Keep an eye on the Poole website and twitter feed in case we get a heavy rain shower.
  20. Gutless. Or more than likely about 300 miles from Wimborne Road.
