Decent first four heats. Pick being Smolinski the curb crawler. KK showing some speed. Poor crowd. SEC not pulling the fans through the turnstiles. What has happened to Piotr Pawlicki? Having a mare. Bad season everywhere. Rain at heat 9. KK showing his Poole form of mobile chicane. No one watching this?

Wolves Vs Poole 7/8/17
Steve Shovlar replied to LisaColette's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Holder misses a 4 team tournament? Panthers have 7 riders to choose from. -
If Peterborough thought that Holder would be banned, the deal wouldn't have gone through. Not only that, Matt Ford would have had to be notified as Holder is a Poole asset being loaned to Peterborough for the season. As any deal might affect Poole, Matt would have been involved in the deal. Such a deal would have been put before the bspa for clarification.

Clearly a deal has been done between Torun and Peterborough. Compensation for panthers. Might see some Peterborough fixture changes away from a Sunday. This guy doesn't know his arse from his elbow. In one post he says, how can Poole lose, and then says he expects Wolves to win by six. Clueless. -
Might be for Peterborough but not for Poole.

Pathetic trolling. If you actually believe the above twaddle you know nothing of the sport. -

Clearly a deal was done between Peterborough and his Polish club. Doesn't affect Poole at all. -

Unfortunate for Masters. Collarbone is 3-5 weeks so he will be back for the playoffs. Wolves can cover him easy with Thorsell, Schlein and Howarth taking three of his rides. Won't affect the result. -

Coming up for this. Think the result might be different this time because we won't have our great number one KK to rely on to fill his boots. -

Sport tv 2 is available on the sportsmania plugin on Kodi. Just found the channel and its crystal clear hd. No buffering on sportsmania. -
Completely disagree. We were stuffed without Andersen who was scoring very well when the injury occurred. Lindback hadn't ridden here for years and to expect him to just come in and score the same or more than Andersen was an impossibility, and so it proved. 5 points first leg, and r/r in the second leaving us weak. Andersen was always good for 10-12 which would have seen us through to the final had he been fit. We suffered last year and Belle Vue could suffer this time around. Did you expect Matt Ford to run with r/r in both legs? It showed we couldn't cover for Andersen in the second leg when we ran out of riders. No. Wolves are favourites imo. Full 1-7, massive home advantage. Swindon on a run, granted but they don't particularly go well at Monmore and Wolves could easily win it in the home leg with a big enough lead.

Ipswich heat one.

Nothing should bevallowed to get in the way of a good conspiracy theory, especially if it involves Poole! As for Andersen, he attempted to ride a meeting in Poland but withdrew and didn't ride again. He said he couldn't grip the throttle tight enough. The injury was completely genuine and all Poole fans would have prefered Andersen, who was riding well, to a brought in Landback who did nothing other than let us down.
-
Dubious injury? Did you not see the photos Andersen tweeted of his injury? It ended his season and left us vunerable when it mattered. Here's Fricke out of control crashing into Andersen. http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/resources/images/5573250.jpg Courtesy Steve Dixon.

Again Matt Ford the only promoter to see the folly of not being able to make injury replacements. Just goes to show how he understands the rules and the repercussions of an injury after the cut off date, where others think they are invincible until an injury comes knocking. Bad luck to Belle Vue on losing Fricke. Poole fans know what its like from last season when we lost Hans at Leicester. Not replaceable but you just have to get on with it. Advantage Wolves if they steer clear of any injuries.

Your post makes no sense sorry. I have said all along that Holder and Batchelor didn't deal with the situation very well. But. The only reason for all this mess is the disastrous track prep by Buster Chapman. There would have been no issue if the track had been prepped correctly. Chapman cocked it up. The rest is history.
-
Hans attempted to ride again overseas in one meeting but that was it and he didn't come back until the start of this season. His hand injury was quite serious and not bogus, as well we know. The injury to Hans basically ended our chance of the title.
-
Would have been a good post except for one fact. Buster Chapman caused the whole sorry issue by failing to prepare a safe racing track. I have stated that neither Holder or Batchelor acted responsibly, but rather than just sack the pair, (he clearly doesn't have an apology in his repertoire) he then became vindictive by making sure both riders couldn't ride again this season. The whole episode is the fault of Chapman. The right thing to have done would have been to apologise to the riders and fans for preparing a track deemed dangerous. But instead he acted spitefully and in a retaliatory manner unbecoming of someone who is currently the BSPA chairman.

Considering Andersen never rode again last season bar one aborted effort, it is safe to assume that Lindback coming in was a genuine injury replacement. Woffinden on the other hand was Wolves strengthening up for the playoffs and the sole reason the rules were changed in the winter.
-
Not sure why you are quoting Lindback. He was bought in as cover for Andersen who had a season ending hand injury caused coincidentally by one Max Fricke at Leicester. Think you should use the Wolverhampton/Woffinden swap as the example. Brought in to replace Kylmakorpi with the sole purpose of strengthening before the playoffs. That is the very reason the rules were changed. Not Lindback for an injured rider.
-
Very unfortunate for Fricke and Belle Vue to come after the cut off date. R/R only option for the rest of the season or until Fricke recovers enough to ride. There is no facility other than R/R, though the way the team are riding he can be covered pretty well. No 28 day injury replacements are allowed at this stage of the season.

Swedish Elitserien Round 12
Steve Shovlar replied to Ghostwalker's topic in International World of Speedway
Great meeting tonight. Best one of the season. Nice to see Bjarne ride like he did for Poole years ago. The old dog still has it in him.
