People who are hugely obese are at risk of death at an early age. It brings on stress, heart conditions and a multitude of other health issues. Sorry but its a fact. He has probably been told by doctors and should do something about it for his own wellbeing.

Rye House V Wolves Saturday 15th July.

Thorsell really is becoming a one track pony. Looks unbeatable at Monmore but let his team down very badly tonight. Been doing it on a regular occurance in Wolves travels. James Shanes passed him and held him off at Poole earlier this season. Thorsell always looks like he could break through to be a top rider. But never does. And on Monday he will probably score 14 or 15. -
Klindt is injured, quite seriously. Certainly seriously enough to not be riding. He needs an operation but seems in denial at the moment. All his clubs have dropped him because of his injury and I believe he wanted to give it a go this evening as he was proud of himself, quite rightly, to have qualified. Hopefully he will now have his op and start to get back his fitness and confidence for 2018.

There is bound to be passing at Monmore Monday. Some of our lads wobbling around and being picked off easily. KK who rode well tonight in the SEC on a fast track will look like a junior as lesser riders who are dialled in like Howarth will sail past. That's the massive home track advantage of Monmore.

Been some cracking racing at Poole this year. Its a thoroughly entertaining race track. Belle Vue and Somerset are better imo, but I visit every track in the league at least once every season and Poole is better than most. Its down to personal taste and opinion. We are lucky we see riders pass inside and out on every bend. No hiding place. Plenty of passing most meetings. When you read tracks like Leicester and Now Kings Lynn have virtually no passing in a meeting after the first bend it shows how lucky we are.
-
Rather than make an assumption that isn't true, perhaps you should come down and actually watch a meeting live. Poole V Swindon on Wednesday should be a good one. Track was pretty good against Lynn. Much smoother and plenty of passing. And no wobbling about from any riders. In general racing at Poole is far superior from anything Monmore could throw up. An opinion of course but if Monmore was my local club I would probably have gone to speedway about twice in my life.

Racing at Poole has been in general good this year. Yes it was bad against bv on tv but much better on Wednesday. Always loads of passing on a fast circuit. Only tracks better in the top flight are BV and Somerset in my opinion. Wolves might be smooth but I couldn't watch that every week. Wobbleway. I have been to Monmore dozens of times and am just not a fan of the track. There's passing but mostly away riders having a wobble or locking up. Prefer proper speedway with the throttle open. Only track worse is Leicester, which has hardly any passing. Its all down to personal taste. Wolves fans like Monmore. I prefer tracks with speed and therefore BV, Somerset and Poole. Swindon can be good at times as well.

Looking at photos of him, he isn't exactly the picture of health. He needs to lose a kilo or 20. Being obese certainly doesn't help blood pressure and stress.
-
Pretty sure we will have someone a bit better replacing KK.
-
Lahti has improved since his Eastbourne days and should be a decent replacement for Nicolai.

Good post PBB. People try to read something that just isn't there. We now have Gavan blatantly lying on here to try and score some pathetic point. He is part of speedways problem. Never adds a penny to the coffers by attending but quick to critisize. Mind you his uncle did bung a tenner over the fence to Mark Loram once.
-
Oh dear here I am in London about to head home and thought I would take a look, and keith m continues to bore up the thread along withe the headless troll Gavan!
-
So Batchelor rides tonight. What a remarkable recovery he has made in just a few hours. Even a simple wrist sprain would take several days to heal. The guys a charlatan. Just glad the IRR rides didn't stop Poole picking up the 4 points.
-
I told you last week to stop lying, yet here you are again lying. Stop lying. I never said Lambert hit someone. So stop lying Gavan.
-
I never said Lambert punched a fan. Read my post. What a shame I am not about tomorrow. Best bit of fun on here for a while. Nighty night!
-
Well I have enjoyed this thread immensely this evening. Over the top we are all doomed posts, Gavan completely losing it, rider super strops, the lot. Oh and 4 juicy points. Happy days! Nighty night!
-
Soft in the head more like. Truth be told the Kings Lynn team only thought they had to turn up to pick up the win. And when they started to get beat completely lost it in more ways than one.
-
Yes he did a very good job tonight and covered for Brady well. 4 big fat juicy points.
-
It would be up to Buster whether he sacks Holder for withholding his services. Doubt that will happen. Seems the whinging disease is spreading through all the Aussies.
-
Some massive over reactions on here tonight. No. It is not the end of speedway in the UK. No. It is not the end of Kings Lynn speedway. All that happened is that the track was "soft" and Kings Lynn riders threw a wobbler when they slipped behind. Batchelor is well known for being king of the moaners when the track is not to his likening. He was one of the instigators of a televised meeting in Poland and could clearly be heard on a mic saying, "what part of we ain't gonna effing ride don't you understand"? After all the track work had been done. Tomorrow there will be a club inquest into what happened, and that will be that. Some words about track being soft and Buster working to sort it out for the next meeting. Next week another club will be there and conditions may be more to the Kings Lynn riders liking. Really nothing to see here. Time to move along.
-
It was never mentioned to me that he fell, so I was none the wiser. Why would I pretend to be there? Rumbled? Lol! I have been to all but two Poole away meetings this season. I was never going to attend this, or the next time we ride at Belle Vue coming up on a Monday so you can put that in your diary. Still, 4 big points. Pleased as Punch!
-
Nobody rumbled anything. I never said or pretended I was there. Lol! Baz is a very reliable poster on here. Sorry you don't like what was happening at Kings Lynn this evening. Totally disgraceful behaviour from Kings Lynn. Well done to Middlo and the Poole lads for getting on with the job and leaving with the 4 big points.

Swindon - Belle Vue 13 Jul 2017
Steve Shovlar replied to A ORLOV's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Good win for a weakened Swindon tonight. Thought Belle Vue would take 4 points when Doyle withdrew. Glad to see Adam knocking in good scores after a difficult start to the season. -
It came directly from Pirate Baz, who was discribing exactly what was happening from his perch above the pits.
