  1. So you are just unpleasant then. Hmm I can think of better words to describe you.
  2. Be suprised if we can do this josh and greebo virtually ubeatable.
  3. Big crowd here at Somerset. Still queues outside. Delayed start.
  4. You believe what you want. The rest of us can just see through your anti Poole claptrap.
  5. And Klindt absolutely should not have been riding. It was clear to see on teack walks. Have you read what is wrong with him? As for Hougaardjust seen him on the track walk laughing and joking. Looked fine.
  6. Forum troll who posts continuously on every Poole thread with his inane anti poole vitriol badly disguised as debate. We all laugh at him. To be honest everyone sees straight through the spew.
  7. Lol! Ruffled a few feathers and some budgies don't like to hear a few truths about the way some of them have been carrying on In your world if Poole lose tonight we would have choked. If Rye win tonight they are riding above themselves. Gavan. The gift that keeps on giving.
  8. Holder was untouchable in his last two rides last night. Shanes has come on leaps and bounds since the A fixture. If Hougaard was unfit he wouldn't be riding. Gavan. The gift that keeps on giving. Lol!
  9. One meeting a fortnight isn't enough for most clubs. They need regular home meetings every week. 12 team league. Home and away twice. 22 meetings plus cup and playoffs. Can't be difficult surely? Mondays and Thursdays.
  10. I had achat last night with the Rye House promoter. He said he wanted Mondays and Thursdays. But home one week, away the next. Not sure many fans would want a home meeting every two weeks. I hear Matt Ford wants the same (set race nights). Looks like this is going to happen. Has to be the way forward.
  11. The rain shower was very unlucky. It was the only shower in the whole of the east of the country and just clipped Kings Lynn. With little to no wind it hung around long enough to do the damage. It had stopped when leaving the arena and the moon was out. 3 miles down the a10 it was bone dry.
  12. You obviously! But you are of course completely wrong. Swindon haven't won anything. Yet. With the Robins being clear favourites (no one can dispute this) for the title, other teams can go into the playoffs with little to no pressure on the riders. Can the Robins handle the pressure? Or will another club come sailing through to blow the Robins out of the water? Poole V Coventry? Swindon v Wolves? It ain't over yet. All those wins in a row will be nothing more than a tearful memory of Swindon choke in the playoffs. Nothing is certain.
  13. Gavan shows how much of an idiot he is by slating my post and praising yours, when we both made almost identical posts! Lol! Think to get the win tonight all 5 riders need on it from heat 1 and riders like Josh, Greebo, Charles and Lewis are very fast around here. Throw in a returning Hougaard and us missing two key riders and we could easily miss out. Need Swindon to help us tonight but if Rye are fired up like they were on Monday I don't expect the Robins to get the win. Hope I am wrong though.
  14. I did watch speedway in Swindon for 3 seasons as a youngster in the early 1970's. I was taken to Swindon as a child from Peterborough by my parents, and at the first opportunity at the age of 18, escaped and moved to beautiful Dorset. I am a spokeman for nobody other than myself, though thank you for holding me in such high regard.
  15. Exactly as I said, though I think we will miss Jack. We are asking a lot of Lahti and as we have both said Somerset are a good team on their own patch. Starke is clr\early struggly and his pairing with Eddie is a big worry. Agree the meeting will possibly be beyond us. We need the win as I expect Rye House to win their remaining meetings.
  16. Going to be a very big ask for us to get anything out of tonight. No Shanes and with respect Woods isn't goong to get near a point. No Holder which is the reason we could come up short. The Somerset team are very good around the oak tree and we could easily come away with nothing tonight. If that is the case Rye will take 4th imo. Still, I will be there cheering on the Pirates. We have certainly improved quite dramatically since our mid season slump and if we get 4th will not be a walk over whoever we meet. Somerset Rebels: Josh Grajczonek [c] (7.63), Richard Lawson (6.96), Patrick Hougaard (6.63), Charles Wright (6.53), Rider replacement for Cameron Heeps (5.49), Kevin Doolan, Lewis Kerr (5.17); Team Manager: Garry May Poole Pirates: Brady Kurtz (8.41), Hans Andersen [c] (7.74), Edward Kennett (6.39), Rider replacement for Jack Holder (5.69), Paul Starke (5.29), Timo Lahti (4.44); Georgie Wood [g] (2.65) Team Manager: Neil Middleditch
  17. Nightmare journey back last night. M11 closed southbound had to go through Baldock center as bypass closed. M3 entry closed on M25 so had to detour through Sunningdale. Detour signs wrong took us in loop! M27 closed, A31 closed. Had to go through Southampton and New Forest to Christchurch. Got in at 2.30am. Still, we won so worth it. Wont be back for the Lynn v Rye meeting so would like to know where to send ticket for refund.
  18. Good meeting with sone exciting racing from both teams. Pirates did what they had to. Raining now so delay. Shower passed through but track wet.
  19. And if a Poole fan posted the same it would be slated as arrogance. Swindon fans thinking it is a formality and all their team has to do is turn up and they can start the celebrations. How we will laugh if it all comes crashing down. Pride comes before a fall. I guess the proverb, humility in defeat, grace in victory, doesnt seem to be known in Wiltshire.
