  1. Shame that 5-1 app isnt available on the main phone platform, iPhone. Had a look at it last night on a friends phone and it looked impressive. Shame its not available to the wider market.
  2. Lol! Thing is no one bothers to listen to him as its the same anti Poole drivel every post. Did you really expect him to say anything different? His hatred coulds his judgment and now he is joined by drop a cog or Fred Flange or whatever he now wants to call himself. It wasnt a tape infringement so no reserve could be used. It was for delaying the start. If Cook Didnt jump, why did half the grandstand yell out and the ref call it back twice? No amount of slow mo replays will disprove what the naked eye saw in real time. All slow mo will do it take away what happened in that split second. Agree there should be yellow and red cards. That would be good.
  3. Yes agree. And that 3-3 surrenderd by Cuppacoffee would never have happened as Buk would have been out in the dirt and not hugging the line inviting the passes.
  4. Having not watched the meeting on tv, and not going to suffering it, I would say to us in the stand, that Cook deserved to be booted out of the heat. It was clear that on the first attempt he was moving and everyone in the grandstand noticed it. So did the ref. He then did exactly the same thing the second time. Easy to look at slow mo replays on tv and for it to look ok but in real time he moved on both occassions and everyone in the grandstand reacted both times. Only time it happened in the meeting. He was still in his other rides. IMO and most in the grandstand, the ref got it right. Excluded for delaying the start.
  5. Reading through the posts puts a big smile on my face. The track was crap, the track was poor yes we all recognise that. What a terrible advert what a farce etc etc etc. Then we have others saying good meeting loads of passing. Make your minds up for gods sake! LOL! We always get loads of passing at Poole, normally Poole riders belting around or under the opposition. Tonight our riders were freaked and pop went a win. We will bounce back. We always do. And ai agree that the team is unbalanced due to riders being in the wrong positions. We also hugely missed Buckowski tonight. No need for Poole to make anymore team changes. This team is still good enough to win the league. Now perhaps people will see why Matt Ford sacked Watt and bought in Bjarne.
  6. First of all well done to Belle Vue on the win. It was obvious from the early heats that some of the Poole riders didn't fancy it and were bucking and rearing when they usually were at full throttle. Holder losing to anaway reserve by 60 metres in his first ride gave out a large warning to what was to come. I spoke to him briefly and said I hope you have the engine from yesterday with you tonight and he said in not so many words, you must be joking. Well it was clear to every Poole fan in the stadium and watching on Sky that Holder was just going through the motions. Just 24 hours previous he was beating Woffinden three times on his way to an immaculate 15 point max in Poland. Then he turns up and is stuffed by a reserve. Not acceptable. I can understand he thinks the track is crap etc, but come on Poole fans deserve better from a rider leading the World Championship. Interestingly, the track was very heavily watered before the meeting and my footage of the track I filmed earlier, and put up a link, shows pools of water on the track. Did they over do it? From heat 13 with Poole on a 5-1 and Hans overdoing it and knocking Zagar off, the track rode far better. Zagar came out full throttle and made a sweeping move with no problems. In heat 15 Nichols did the same. But far too late from the track which caused the riders, especially the home side, serious issues. After Swindon next week, the track will not be used in June until the end of the month. Plenty of time for Matt Ford to talk to the riders, ask their opinion and do something about it. The track is one of the best for racing and there's always a ton of passing, even tonight proved that, but it really does need to be smoothed out. As for tonight, first of all Poole. Hans did his job, cant complain really. Even if Poole had got the 5-1 in heat 13 we would still have been beaten. Bjarne I thought was excellent. First meeting at Poole and battled for everything. Made a good pass as well. Kyle could not have had a harder return. In the heat leader spot and against a side who have a very strong top five. Had a good battle with Fricke. Holder scored ten but it was seriously going through the motions. Losing to Worrall is completely unacceptable. Poole fans can see the lack of effort. Kylmakorpi battled but was never a substitute for Buck. Brady was poor IMO. Should have done better. Knocking off a rider who he should beat easily summed up his and Pooles night. Ellis had his worst meeting. Bike problems didn't help. For BV Zagar started with a blip but was then untouchable. Fricke was solid Cook had one decent ride but didn't do very much. R Worral picked up points along the way. Nicholls was excellent but again he really shouldn't be beating Holder in heat 14. Jacobs was out of his depth. S Worrall gave a display of gating and won Belle Vue the meeting. Funny how he guested for Poole a couple of weeks ago and scored 2 or 3 at Leicester. Belle Vue deserved the win. No doubt about it they were up for it as the Poole riders talked themselves out of it. Well done to them.
  7. I dont know of course but was the track prepared by someone else this week. It always has the bump on the first bend but riders are normally full throttle and Hans would never have lost it there. This year we have seen some great racing but tonight the Poole riders are all over the place. Belle Vue have just got on with it and rode through the conditions and well done to them.
  8. Nasty prang. Shows the track is bad when hans lost it. Hope Zagar is ok.
  9. Nasty prang. Shows the track is bad when hans lost it. Hope Zagar is ok.
  10. That race showed who wanted it more. Poole riders have phsyced themselves out of the meeting due to track being different. Well done to Belle Vue.
  11. Track is way bad have to agree very slow tomes and poole riders bucking and rearing. Belle Vue have already got this in the bag. Outgated and outfought.
  12. From where we are all sitting Cook jumped clearly both times. With Holder riding like a donkey Belle Vue can win this. I said to him before the meeting I hope he has bought yesterdays motor over with him and he said no chance.
  13. Poor crowd here tonight. Half the usual crowd. Track has been well watered. Filmed a bit on periscope before meeting. Worth watching for Pearsons comment. https://www.periscope.tv/w/ahHwkzFtTUVQZVdxTm1RR2J8MU9kS3JtYlJaWll4WK1MV7U09dpTVta7czpPREfv-r4pXPBk1Q9gwqex1-w0
  14. Dont let the facts get in the way of a good Gavan rant where he is so so wrong.
  15. Agree Buk was a shoe in for double figures. Knows the track now and makes great passes. Cuppacoffee rides number one but really isnt. I would take Buk over Cuppacoffee any day of the week around Poole. Those who think different must be deluded. Clouded over in Poole but dont think theres a threat of rain. The cloud will help track conditions but I hope its been well watered. Hoping for a very entertaining meeting on a good racing track.
  16. And some ln this thread actually think it strengthens us Lol they know nothing. Clearly it weakens us but we must just dig in and do our job. Makes no difference where Holder rides as he has to do a heat leaders job. I would put him with Kyle to shore up those heats. Weather is good. Hope its taken a lot of water today and produces some great racing. Looking forward to it but a shame we are not full strength. Why would we want anything different to normal? A disgrace of a track? Which normally produces some of the best racing seen in the EL.
  17. Well it must mean its grtting close to sold out then as no back straight tickets were available. Just a couple if expensive options and the tickets I purchased. First bend sounds great. Just hope it stays dry!
  18. Just purchased two tickets for the west terrace. Is that the back straight? No idea. But what an absolute bargain at just 27.50 for two meetings. Would be suprised if this is not a sell out. Fans in the UK are used to paying kn the gate but its too much of a gamble on this occassion and with buying tickets for two days to watch the playoff for a fiver has to be one of the deals of the year. If you havent booked dont leave it late.
  19. Thought Woryna at reserve was meant to be a trump card for Coventry. He probably saw that track and sh£t a brick.
  20. Now perhaps others will see that Wattys form for Poole is continuing for his bnew club.
  21. No I didn't say anything about international teams. I spoke about individual riders. I would support team GB over Australia without question. And as for stating only in Poole club before country, thats the biggest load of twaddle you have ever written. No, I take that back you have written far worse... Why on earth would I support a ride who can't be assed to ride in his own domestic league? Not a chance. And its clear I am not e only one thinking that. He cant be arsed to ride EL, I can't be arsed to support him. Its great he does some charity work. Well done to him. Absolutely. I was a massive fan of Loram and when he won his WC I was at every GP. It was great. After Lorams time had finished I supported Trick and again it was fantastic going around the GPs watching him in action. Today I cheer on Holder, and enjoy the racing whoever wins. I don't think, Tai's in this race I want him to lose. If he wins great, but no more than that, which is an absolute shame because the weight of the nation isn't behind him like it should be. He has let British Speedway down big time.
  22. Seems all the hype we had on Lambert a couple of years ago is evaporating at a speed of knots. Now and again I hear stories about how wonderful he is and how he is the next Loram. Stories of coming from the back at Leicester a few weeks ago to grab a point for his club. Some Kings Lynn fans on here were stating he would be their number one by the end of this season. Then it comes to tonight and hes out of the u21, in a field he should have come through. Will he get a wildcard? Does he deserve one? I hope the lad developes into a useful rider and can challenge to represent teamGB regularly, but I have yet to see anything to tell me he will good enough to become a top rider. There were other casualties as well. Kurtz and Predpelski. Both should have made it through. No good blaming the rain.
  23. In the case of a run off for world champion between Noddy Nd Tai, I would certainly be cheering on Holder. He rides for the club I support, and more importantly rides and therefore supports the Elite League. Woffinden winning the WC brings nothing to the sport in the UK because he cant be assed to ride here. My opinion would be different if he rode for a British club.
