A superb meeting full of great races with passes in virtually every heat. The scoreline doesn't reveal an excellent meeting full of hard, agressive and downright exciting racing. The track work done over the last few days was noticeable with no bumps or ruts. If I had to moan it was underwatered and became dusty later on, but the racing continued throughout at a very high quality. Poole started like a train and steam rollered Swindon at the start but it wS never going to last. They came back into it with two 5-1's on the bounce and battled for everything. Poole always had the upperhand though and Doyle desperately needed back up which he didn't get. Heat 12 was a blinding race with all four on top of each other. Chalk and cheese compared to last week. The return of Buck made Poole look much more solid and his passing and never say die was appreciated by the good crowd. For Poole. Holder looked much happier and was in the mix all night. Worrall battled well. Buckowski was excellent and deserved heat 15 imo. Bjarne did his job. Solid. Hans was Hans and did his job. Newman missed the gate all night and although scored lower than usual was always a bike wheel away from another point. Kurtz was pretty good with a couple of cracking races. Swindon. Doyle was excellent after a poor heat one. Josh battled well. Tungate had one decent ride. Morris ditto. Sedgeman held off Buck very well in one heat. Wright was good and made a great sweeping move in one heat to get a 5-1. Neilson gated well and got a win. Three points to Poole but importantly nothing for Swindon. To be honest they didn't deserve a point but they gave their all and made for a very good nights entertainment. You couldn't be more wrong if you tried.

Said swindon would get better. Racing has been good. Wright sround both Poole riders and Sedgman blocking Bucks every move. Good stuff.

I am there and the racing has been good. Passing in every heat. Track a tad dry but much better than last week. Swindon will get better than currently.

Dry for the rest of the day so all systems are go. Looking forward to some good racing tonight down the stadium. Pretty sure it will be an entertaining meeting.

Agree. We have had some fantastic racing and meetings on it this season.

And that happens a lot and the offender doesnt stand a chance due to the way the cps view such cases. Just recently the case with the Sunderland player. Got the guy years in jail and life wrecked.

The Swindon queues were volume of people. No way if speeding it up as you walked up to the turnstile, paid your cash and you were in. Could not have been done any faster. BV. Queue up then slowly get to the ticket office and wait your turn. "Which tickets do you want, Edna"? "Aye"? "Where shall we sit, love"? "Aye"? The ticket girl shows the screen. "Whats all that then"?. The ticket girl explains the green seats are avalable still. "Two then please". "Which ones"? "Near the Lavvy". Finally the tickets are printed and paid for. The couple then head for the next queue to get in, along with a bag search where banana sandwich and flask are confiscated as dangerous weapons. "However our food outlets offer a superb range of overpriced beverages and dried out pies". The queues at the ticket office move forward one pace. "Next"!

Wouldnt be suprised if this happened. Like Wimbledon when they moved to Eastbourne. Lasted a season then Eastbourne reverted to the Eagles.

No point in speculating. Innocent until proven guilty. I would be careful what anyone writes as even though it is not a UK accusation, there could be legal implications.

Absolutely agree. And still think letting people choose their seat is wrong with a queue. People buying online can pick but really the person in the ticket office should just allocate a seat to the buyer. If they dont like the seat then move after the first heat to an empty one in a better position. The delays to gdt in are unnecassary.

Clearly you havent been to Poole for years as theres always a fair bit of dirt down. Forecast has changed somewhat with a risk of rain showers late afternoon. Well doubt Lindback will be over here anytime soon after his arrest last night.

All this rain is going to make a lot of dirt. Tomorrows forecast is overcast but dry so the moisture should hopefully remain in the track. The track has been worked on so hopefully we wont have a repeat of last Monday and get the three points.

When you buy online you buy for a section. So when you get there you sit anywhere in that section. Sorted. Only in big events is there a need for allocated seats. By the way was the grandstand totally full yesterday?

Gutted for Adam. The doc at the track didn't think it was broken and advised Ellis to pop in for an xray on his way home. Hate having guests and doubt Worral will repeat the previous week score. Hope he does though. 60 points is a nonsense. 53-39 would be a great win.

They didnt use up the water in the tank on the back of the pickup. Perhaps the Swindon promotion thought the team stood a better chance on a bald blue groove dust bowl.

Absolutely true about passing. When Holder and Andersenmissed the start against Morris and Tungate it was all over by the second bend. A woman was screaming for them to keep going but I said to her its all over already. In fact I think Hans gave up after two laps. There was nothing. There were about three or four passes all meeting. Seen worse though this year at Leicester. Nice to see a big crowd though. Proves the sport can do well with some serious effort.

Normal service resumed and a comfortable 14 point win.

I gave Lambert a little stick last week as he hasnt been great this season but tonight he has been really great and entertaining. Well done to the lad.

He did get warned. Not excluded for touching the tapes. Excludd for delaying start. Hand was warned in one heat. Did it again in another and the ref said several rider were moving. But again, why was Wright not excluded for not being under power when Morris touched the tapes?

If it isnt a sellout why on earth waste time asking people where they want to sit? Its an unwarranted delay for fans entering the stadium. Let peole sit where they want. Early birds get the best seats

Didnt think it was very good meeting racing wise. Track started slick and then they decided to dtop watering before the interval. Track had a big blue groove on it at the end and bad dust. Riders really struggling. Outsidegate were the best. Huge crowd. The fans are still there as the crowd proved. Getting them there every week is the trick. Poole brought along a lot of fans. The scoreline kept it more exciting than the racing.
