  1. Why do you doubt it? KK and Harris love it around Poole, and we have some racers as well. For all the stick the Poole track gets on here from some, it does produce excellent racing most of the time and tonight should be no different. Lets squash those bees!
  2. Weathers all set fair today so no problems with this not taking place. Should be an entertaining meeting.
  3. I would like to make one thing clear, which didn't come over on my previous posts, as I am quite angry on this subject. I do believe Woffinden is a great rider and worthy World Champion. His work for charity is exemplorary and he deserves praise for his work in this field. No other rider off the top of my head has done so much for such worthy causes. But it does frustrate me that we have a British World Champion who has shunned his own country's league to entertain fans in other countrys rather than his own. He might feel its a pain to ride in the EL but as a Brit and as a World Champion is is an ambassador to the sport and should have helped re-ignite the sport by riding here. Instead he has chosen to be invisible to the British speedway public and his time as World Champion is a waste for the sport in the UK when it could have been used well. Not only has he alienated UK fans with his blatant disregard to the EL, but he has also probably missed out on quite a but of sponsorship. Furthermore, a world champion normally has a huge following from his own country behind him, but his actions have split his support in the UK, as this thread clearly shows. A shame IMO and one he will probably look back at at after his career is over with regret.
  4. A British world champion who cant be arsed to support the top league in this country deserves all the distain thrown at him. A real shame because having the world champ in the EL would have been a big draw card and he would have shown support for the country that gave him the brake. Instead he would rather ride in Poland and Sweden. I cant fathom why anyone would want to support him after basically craping on his own country's fans. As far as I am concerned he can carry on singing Waltzing Matilda and after refusing to ride here hope he never gets a spoty nomination he so desperately craves.
  5. Why should we care? Holder, Zagar, Doyle can ride here and the other leagues but its too much for the plastic Brit? I hope he recieves a chorus of boos when he is announced at Cardiff.
  6. If Poole have to ride with a PL 6 pointer so be it, but with Horton refusing to change dates it just goes to show how low they have to go to get the three points.
  7. Very disappointing that we don't go to Coventry at full strength. A gues is never the same. If Holder scored five then fair enough he has a duffer and we lose. If a guest scores five then we lost because of that and Holder would have scored more etc etc. Guess we will discover who Matt has lined up in the next couple of days. This is something that could be avoided. The fixtures come out far too late and other leagues have their fixtures sorted way before the uk. Whoever planned Fridays Cov v Poole meeting must have known before the season even started that Holder would not be available and this meeting could have been switched a week to avoid this scenario.
  8. I can see no reason why we wouldn't be allowed a guest. He is our number one. If the Torun meeting is not a rearranged fixture, Holder by not being a Brit doesn't have to put uk first, unfortunately. A guest should be allowed. If we have to run with a 3 pointer Coventry will get the points in a hollow victory which will be poor for everyone.
  9. And as the pay more........... Wonder who Matt has got lined up. Hopefully a track specialist. Lindgren?
  10. Watching Greg here, is this the season old father time catches up with the guy? I hope not but there are a lot of fearless youngsters coming through and to stay at the top as long as he has is a remarkable achievement.
  11. That post just about sums up what type of person you are. A bitter twisted sad individual who attacks another forum member with no justification.Oh, thats just an observation by the way.
  12. I don't know you. I have never offended you. I have never before replied to a post of yours. So your attack against me is totally uncalled for and out of order.
  13. But of an inbecilic post to be honest. As I dont follow Polish speedway closely and there was a meeting on how would I know it wasn't live? When this meeting was on I was stuck in a massive traffic jam at Dartford attempting to go and support my team. Poole Town? Dont know where they play, Hamworthy I guess with 200 people standing around the edge to fetch the ball. As anyone would know, Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch is a large conurbation and Bournemouth FC is a premier club, so for anyone to say theres no local football club is an imbecile. As for ever changing speedway rules, who cares about the finities of the r/r rule. Most wont know it either.
  14. It was through Fusion I think.I have just tried something else which works a treat for tvp, though some of youvare probably doing this, and that is streaming the telewizjada online feed through chromecast to tv. Again works a treat. Pic not hD but still very good. Downside is no clear nsport feed this way so kodi is undoubtably the best option.
  15. No watching through nsport on the telewiczjzzzzjjjkk app or whatever its called.
  16. Poor from the riders to not even give it a go. Terrible negativity.
  17. The feel from the riders is negative and I cant understand a word. Be suprised to see action. They are not in racing mode. Its off by the look of it.
  18. All standing there trying to talk each other out of bothering. Nsport on kodi crystal clear image. Get Kodi. Just seen track and doesnt look too bad.
  19. There are certain riders who have injuries follow them around. Schlein, Roynon, Ollie Allen are just three names off the top of my head. Other riders go through their whole careers without virtually a scratch. Adams, Hans Nielsen. There more to it than luck. Yes, the risks are far less when out in front but making the right decision when in the pack could well be why some get injured more than others.
  20. No football? Could have sworn there was a premier league football team five miles up the road.
  21. Ok sorry yes i hadnt seen it as at Lakeside. Very good meeting. Theres more on nsport right now but a one sided affair.
  22. Not sure I get what you are saying. This afternoons televised meeting was excellent.
