Overall the Czech GP was poor speedway entertainment. Too often races were strung out. Not what viewers want, not what riders want. Yes, I will sit through it tonight for Round 6, all the time hoping it will be better then Round 5. The fact 8 of the riders were on a start infringement warning/exclusions shows the riders knew they had to get a good start to have a chance of winning the race. Some of the infringements, when shown in slowmo, were so close to perfect anticipation it was difficult see why a penalty was given. The fact some races, not only las night, were called false starts and the race stopped, but then after the ref replayed in slowmo he decided it was not an infringement just shows how difficult a job the ref has to uphold the rules. In MotoGP, and F1, do not have start tapes (not practical) and especially in modern day F1 a good start is imperative, but rarely do you see riders/drivers being penalised for moving at the start. One of the reasons for this is that the have many laps to claw a “poor” start back., in speedway there is just 4. Remember Warsaw GP a few years ago, the tape system failed, so they used the green light system to start races and the system worked. Refine the green line system such that it includes a beam in front of the front wheel AND a beam behind the rear wheel. The rider cannot have his machine too far away from the front beam (the rear beam would be broken) so cannot do massive rollers, but has no fluttering tapes in front to distract, nor magnets too watch......... just, when the green light comes on then the beams go off and the rider is free to go. For sure, the rider can anticipate the start but the amount would be so small it wouldn’t matter. The rollers that were in the 70’s etc were allowed and they spoilt races, IMO, I hated them. But today, equally races are spoilt when a rider anticipates perfectly but it’s stopped and potentially a rider excluded for really a very minimal offence.

That is not what has apparantly happened. Anlas tyres were submitted for approval, passed the test and approved, but on testing what was available at Wroclaw the results differed from the approval standard so are now banned. From the Anlas statement I read it appears that they are saying the limit of approval was not too clear for them..... so what becomes of this is to be seen.

Doyle a big girls blouse moaning about that move. I seen him do much worse anyway. overall not that bad a meeting, made good by fantastic last three races plus a few other belters.

So, the two high scorers on Anlas tyres at the previous 2 rounds have only score 2 points between them from four starts. Mmmm.

So, if the tyres used in the first two GPS are found not to meet the regulations does that mean the results will be scrubbed?

So 25%. Even at that ratio facemasks and social distancing would be required and I not too sure that many speedway spectators on here would be willing to go along with the rules judging by some posts made. That would mean going to empty stadiums just because some clowns don’t want to comply with orders meant to protect others.

I reckon you wrong Iris, they so brain washed with the razz mataz they wouldn’t know what excitement is. Shame, all that money going into F1....... speedway would benefit with just a fraction of it.

Just seen the result of the F1 GP, the top 6 finished in the same order as they started. What a difference between boring F1 and Speedway GP which is packed with excitement.

Probably right, his gating let him down. However, having said that, he was a bit numb as to what to do next. Tai would have seen he couldn’t get round, plan B, cut up the inside. Laguta just stuck it out and lost out.

I reckon Laguna knew he was taking 3 before he got to the stand to actually pick. It’s all theatre, scratching head, reaching out and selecting a different one at the last second, pure theatre.

I would be happy to see Laguna in the bottom six - that’s where his talent really lies.... apart from his great gating. i used to class Madsen as a pure gater, but last year I changed my mind. He’s a good racer that can gate well sometimes.

Can Lindback be ditched and put Glen Chugunov in. Chug is currently placed 7th. Got to admit, I was hoping Madsen and Vaculik would be up there this year, with Madsen winning. Both looking shadows of last year.

What I would like to see is the full result, quickly, at the end of the meeting, both for the meeting and cumulative with previous meetings. Should not be hard to do. Whilst the last 3 races (2 semi and final) are taking place positions 9-16 can be determind, at the end of both semis position 5-8 determined, and the easy ones are position 1-4 right at the end of the final. Within 5 minutes all this can be checked and added to previous rounds.

Excellent racing over the 2 nights. You can’t beat speedway go racing, the guys are giving it 110% and have done over the last few years. It’s very intense. They must have strong minds to keep doing what they doing at this high level.

In a way, the new system has already accomplished what it set out to do. Freddie fulfilled it when he raced all the way to the end, not content wit 7+3, he exerted himself and got 16. A leeson given, and possibly learnt - we shall see tonight.

That 1.2 was on a good day, sometimes below 1. I do a check not only on Plusnet but TalkTalk and Sky etc and that’s the best I can get, 1.2. When the speedway contract with BT ends will have to see what the situation is then. couldnt believe it when I chatted with the Openreach guys that were working in a box down below the pavement opposite my home, and they told me fast fibre was coming soon. But it did!

I was with Plusnet (is owned by BT, as is EE) a few years ago and took out BT sport via SKY and it was £10 month. I did just the 7 month speedway season for £70. My mobile sim is with Plusnet, which is an EE sim. £7.50 for unlimited minutes, unlimited texts, 3gb data. BT and EE are expensive, Plusnet is good value. My problem now is..... I am on fast fibre, 72mbps, and BT is not opening up to other suppliers yet, not even Plusnet. This means if I moved away to get Plusnet, or anyone else’s deal, I would go back to 1.2 mbps and I don’t want to see the spinning wheel again.

How long does it take to print programs? Is the morning of the meeting giving enough time, or are they done overnight?
