Not that easy, well, yes its easy to cancel DD, but that would cancel my broadband as well, and I dont want to do that. I just want cancel the TV package ie 2 TV boxes (I get banished to the bedroom when speedway or Mot GP is on.

Got a message from BT earlier last week, they removing Movie 24 from the package I have on 31 March. Reason we joined BT TV was so I could watch speedway and the wife Movie 24. Now there is no speedway, MotoGP and now Movie24 dropped it gives me the legal right to cancel. Just have the problem now to talk to someone at BT.

Aub, Norwich, Lawson in front to Peter Craven. Ron How, Wimbledon, in front of Briggo. Bottom left, Ken McKinley, Leicester. And I agree with Bavarian, Hofmeister between Briggo and Peter.

Saw a news snippet last night, cant remember where, but BT can suspend packages until future time. Cant do a link, and some may already have seen this....but on www.speedwaygp.com website there is a fantastic race in Prague GP 2015 where NK Iversen gates last but ends up ...…….. Been some good snippets recently, no doubt more to come as no live speedway to comment on.

Scunthorpe Scorpions 2020
OveFundinFan replied to ScunnyDan's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Not going to get into the argument re Sunny v BV and Sheffield BUT Torun looks longer then BV, and for BV to be actually longer straights mmmm BV has been built into pre existing constraints, it could not be any bigger even if they wanted. I thought Mort went to a few tracks renowned for good racing including Torun, the shape, widths, banking angles, etc. But are you sure BV is bibber then Torun? -
Could it have something to do with the fact that some expertise in medical matters are needed at these large gatherings, and they could be better utilised elsewhere within the NHS - staff shortages

How can you reduce 7 teams riding home and away.
-
Because by the time this virus has eased off such that restrictions are dropped we could be a long way through the season, so much so there won’t be time to complete home and away meetings. So do something else to attract as many supporters as possible.

Will the premiership start on time?
OveFundinFan replied to tellboy's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
GP's every weekend - YES PLEASE -
There is a good chance that any league commitments will not be completed due to delays, so I would scrap the league this year and run as many matches as possible as challenge matches. Saves any frustration at the end of the year. Apart from that...... some tracks may not reach the end of the year anyway.

I can see a lot of businesses, even some big ones, struggling through this, some even disappearing. I wonder how this will affect speedway sponsorship, either team or individual riders. Certainly GP riders require a lot of sponsorship to be competitive through a whole season, Emil went awol for 3 years cause he couldn’t raise funds to compete at highest level. we know sponsorship in Poland is crazy high, riders getting £1k per point it is said. What happens to Polish speedway if sponsorship collapses. Interesting times ahead.

Me and the wife are of "the elderly", but we had a call from our son tonight who has just got home from a NHS meeting where obviously coronavirus had been discussed. His message for us was to restrict where we go, who we visit, do a big shop one day a week, not do multiple trips, because "this is serious" and is going to get worse, a lot worse. For sure we each decide to do what we want to do, but it would be foolish to ignore warnings, this is not a scam!

God point, not thought of that.

If there is a 500 limit and that includes speedway, it would be quiet novel to see fans being turned away from some tracks.

Lidsey, I think will make it, impressive in the under 21's world championship. If Dan doesn't make big strides this year then I will begin to wonder if he will. My big concern is Lambert. Again, like Dan, this will be a defining year for Lambert.

Greg Hancock - happy retirement
OveFundinFan replied to screm's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
If you go into an task with a negative attitude, the likely thing is that you will fail. Have a positive attitude, and surround yourself with others who are positive then you have a better chance of succeeding. Smoli is doing it right, investing in new engines and fresh mechanics. Would be nice if he did what he did in the final of the NZ Gp few years ago..... that would lite up the forum. -

MAYBE, he was hoping his wife would recover to such an extent he could confidently ride this year. MAYBE she not responded so well, such he taken the decision to stay home. I do hope his wife is doing well, but if not, there is a lot been said on here that should not have been said - like he thinking of himself, he is selfish etc -
I reckon Martin Vaculick will be in top 3 for 2020. And if Freddie Lindgren starts off well then he could be in with a shout come the last GP. Of course, Woffinden, Zmarzlik and Madsen will be very much in the mix, I think the winner is in those three. The rest will be giving everyone a strong chase and well capable of stealing big points on occasions.

Laughed my socks off!

Hi Teaboy, the problem I can see with having an early season qualifier for a GP spot is getting sponsorship for a whole GP season at such a late stage. It takes months of planning to arrange/secure major sponsorships, plus a rider with serious intent will probably want to spend winter months for a gruelling GP season on top of riding in 2+or 3 countries every week. What is going to happen is the rider everyone is hoping would liven up a GP season is at a big disadvantage due to lack of funds etc and likely to be like a damp firework.
