Looks like I won’t be viewing the PC Memorial meeting. If they want viewers, they need to advertise where potential viewers look - including the website where they have a news section. and it looks like £12.95 is going to be the norm. Not good.

I not on Twitter, and that link to twitter doesn’t mention a £10 stream, just a stream. Gunner 85 mentioned BB website and £10. I would do it for £10.

Maybe Gregori Laguta does not want to be in the GP’s. Takes a lot of money (sponsorship), physical fitness, mental fitness, to be able to compete at the highest level. The riders who dedicate their lives to the goal of being a world champ in any major sport is tough. At the very top level of speedway ie the GP’s, I would imagine There are no easy races. Just look how fit Freddy, Tai, Doyle, Zmarzlik are. Years ago riders probably not too bothered what they ate, now they will have nutritionalists advising what and how much to eat. Probably got personal trainers. The rewards can be high, especially riding in Poland, but being at the very top in the GP’s will be tough, maybe Greg likes the level he at and earns a good sum for it.

Didnt know that, NKI having a real tough time, he will be glad when this season is over.

But these old stagers can still teach the young ones a lesson. Zagar, even though he had already quailed for next year was still giving it some welly, he got a semi place over the 8 rounds. NKI and Lindback have had a bad year generally, NKI getting injured very early on. Ok, Lindback performed particularly poor this year. I don’t expect to see either in the GPs again. Zagar can still be a spoiler, but couple years and he may well be missing.

I don’t know the Lublin track, but why not Bydgoszcz, that’s a cracker.

Is this the finger injury he been carrying during the 8 GP’s ? If so, why is it bothering him now, interviewed at Toruń and he was saying GB in with a good chance. Lahti riding for the Swedish championship and for Finland in the same year - nonsense, it’s one or the other, but not both.

I would have particularly like to see 2 GPs in a weekend in Prague again. In Toruń there was only 1 tape warning I think, and that was the final meeting. In Prague I think there was 8 plus 2 exclusions..... that tells you how keen the riders were to fulfil the need to get out first at that track.

The law has changed, all providers can only increase once per year )at a set time), and only in accord with Retail Price Increase (or is it Consumer Price Increase), so the increase is fixed percentage wise. It’s the same with mobile phones. i have read BT adverts, and they are clear whether or not that offers of new devices incurr a new contract period. its always is a case of buyer beware, but now the law is obligating businesses to be more up front. What you do get with BT I find is that Customer Service is a lot better then some other providers that may be cheaper, I hear some have what is said to be a very trying (to the customer) experience. Hopefully problems with the service is far and few between, but when it occurs it can be very frustrating to have to wait ages for a reply never mind action. i remember 3.5 years ago I was waiting for ages to get faster broadband in, I emailed the BT chairman (I read he was very open to receiving customer complaints), and surprised to receive an answer within a few hours, in the evening, and a call next day from his secretary telling me they were looking into it, which they did. I kept the complaint factual, to the point, and polite. Worked for me.

Whoops, I better not tell BT know that I do then. Of course you can. I have BT Sport on the tv so I can record it, it also on my phone and iPad, handy when I go on holiday.

Surely, BT sports app is free to watch whilst you are subscribing to BT sports.

Top 6 has only been done one year, hardly a fair test. What if no 7 and 8 had been rubbish this year, you would be stuck with them. Top 6 gives loads of flexibility if needed, why tie your hands so no movement. Pearson doesnt always say what he is thinking, you should have known at the start of Torun last night what the situation was, and then follow through who may or may not get in the semis, and once the semis were going on you can work out who is in with a chance. I thought it was close and exciting all night, was Zmarzlik going to get in the semis, if he didn’t it would have been wide open. Then would he get to the final seeing as he was on gate 4 in the semi. Woffinden going out in the final, Zmarzlik getting in, then Freddy only needed top 3 in the final to be 2nd in the world, drama at the start with Freddie’s bike giving up. If you didn’t find all that exciting then I am lost for words.

Talking to some friends at lunch time re customer service from phone/mob phone/broad band suppliers. Some are better then others at looking after their customers when problems arise. There was one mentioned appears to be non contactable if you have a problem.

But he has already ridden for Russia, got a gold medal or is it two. I have a problem with sports people changing “nationality” as a matter of convenience. To dodge between one and the other is pushing too much IMO.

Be sure when comparing prices you are also comparing speed. The slower you go the cheaper it will be, it’s how slow or how fast you want to go.

So no 7 was Laguta, a gp winner plus other semi and final, 8 and 9 got into 6 semis each, and Fricke (in his first year) won a Gp (did I say it was his first year) and did another semi. Someone (try) tell me an intelligent reason why those four should not be in next year...... I will wait patiently.

So you saying only top 6 qualify, plus Sec champ, plus 3 challenge, so you want 5 fresh ones every year. You, and other wishful pickers, could well be in tears. Is there really 5 others each and every year good enough to come into the GP.? Who , for instance would you put in next year, 5 of them, that would be more then also rans.??? Who, outside of the GP’s this year have been lighting up the track week after week?.?

Like I just said, it gives more choice, and you just explained it.

It gives them more choices to make it better the following year. 2020 I think including for next year 7to 10 would be right, that leaves 1 to pick. However, could easily only 7 and 8 worthy of next year leaving 3 to pick. This year I don’t think there is 3 riders outside the current lot ready for a full season. Nicki P looking good for the 1 pick left, that might work in Freddie’s favour next year as NP could be a big spoiler.

Just seen replay of the final, I don’t think Janowski was happy, didn’t shake hands or even look at Zmarzlik on the way back to the pits. Could it be the move Smarlik did puxshing Janowski out to the fence when he undertook him.
