Apart from having a RACE track its these basic facilities like toilets and catering that MUST have attention paid to them. Who wants to travel even a modest distance, never mind an away fan who may have travelled 60, 80, 100 mile or more, turning up to dingy smelly toilets. Long term hire (or purchase) of portacabins with flushing loos should not be out of the question. Catering facilities - way beyond a greasy burger now, people want and expect healthy snack/sandwiches. These things are an investment for the future. If your in business, you got to meet the needs of the customers you want to attract. Speedway is living in the past generally speaking, and the past didnt go well for the dinosaurs.

That was a great Swedish round, much better racing track then KL, Chapman needs to take note and get some lessons how to prepare a race track. Everyone was stuck in really trying their hardest. Whoever the 4th team through to the final on Saturday will mea GB are up against it, and the team GB lads will have to raise their game a notch or two. I can see GB being real spoilers in some races. and they should take encouragement from that. But as for being winners - no, I dont think so, bronze a possibility, silver would be something special for them this year. Looking forward to Fri and Sat meets.

Sorry speedibee, you might be disappointed to hear that Suzi Perry is back for the Cardiff GP. And I think thats her schedule complete for this year, may be wrong on that.

I always liked Suzi Perry, and still do........ but Natalie is doing such a good job with BT last year and this year in the studio and handles the pit interviews well too. Suzi seems more into F!, thats ok. I dont really see the need for the two of them to be in the same show Just leave the speedway to Natalie - that will do nicely.

New rule this year - once the manager announces his team of 5 thats it, set in stone. Thats why Aussie couldnt do anything last about Doyles injury - they can have him back next Friday if they want. Round 2 on Tuesday should be interesting - ok its in Sweden and I expect them to do ok, but its not a really strong team. The ref got it right in heat 2 when there was a false start and riders went straight back to the tapes - none of this pit-gates-opening-waste-of-time The track was not a good race track tonight, not a lot of passing. And Czech Republic - I dont think they wanted to get through this round and rode accordingly. Franc and definitely Milik are better riders then the scores they got. Notice right at the end Franc was in a race where he could have got 2nd, and Milik won his last race. Thats the true reflection of there standard. Its as if they were there just for the ride.

Stops the trick Hancock did last year when he rode in this equivalent meeting, qualified cause of his points for the Friday last chance, and pulled out. Which BV are you talking about. If you talking about last year at BV in the temporary seating on bends 3-4 there was nothing wrong with that at all. I was only about 6 rows from the back and no complaints at all. And parking - have you never been to Cardiff GP? Got to park miles away and get bused in - again no real problem. And thats what some parking was last year for BV, park at Man City ground and get bussed in. And for 3 years running wife and I sat in the top tier which could be considered some way from the track action - but we had a very good view. Perhaps staying at home and watching on TV is for you ....and there is nothing wrong with that so enjoy it.
