  1. One pass so far, by one of the Brits, who have so far had the crap gates. Mind you, Hampel didn't do too bad off gate 4 there!!!
  2. Is she supporting the Brits now Boycey and his "boys" are out?
  3. Yet he has never let Team GB down. I don't think it's unfair to say he has been the best single performer of the SWC since the competition was introduced, he has not missed a single meeting and has always rode reasonably well at worst.
  4. I have just seen that worldspeedway.org is not going to be updated any more. What terrible news, I ALWAYS looked at this site first when trying to find out anything about a rider or international meeting. Where will I look now? Does anyone know a good alternative? Does someone fancy doing something similar? The amount of work that must have gone into that site is unimaginable and I'm sure I'll not be the only one who'll miss it. It was THE first speedway site I ever looked on, quite possibly the first website of any genre
  5. Hans Neilsen rode until a few months before his 40th birthday and retired as World Number 3 and someone who won a GP that season. I see no reason why TRick can't emulate that.
  6. It's up to 30 minutes after the end of practice. So it said in the Event 1 and 2 programme. Wasn't practice today? I actually think Harris has a nice start, he CAN beat Puk and Lindgren and nobody will expect him to beat Gollob anyway.
  7. I think we should get Jason Crump in for Joe Screen. Well the Poles can do it for a rider who does not live in the country and was not born there. Crumpy was born here and lives here!!
  8. Oi, I didn't even give you a chance to hi-jack, I got in ASAP and mentioned Poole in the initial post!
  9. Swindon used there EL air fence. I thought Polish tracks all had Briggo no pain barriers, so where was the Briggo barrier to?
  10. Personally, I have great respect for any foreign rider who gives an interview. Since Gollob has given interviews my opinion of him has shot up 10 fold and Walasek should be proud of himself for having a go, even if he was confused.
  11. I was also jumping up and down in front of the tele and only looked on liveupdates to try and find out how mad I was (or was not) and once they confused me, I checked the BSI site, found out I was right and went back to jumping up and down. Damn Danes
  12. Wasn't Greg good today? I bet a few promoters wish that Poole would let him sign for another club. What odds Walasek replaces Ferjan at Poole some time soon?
  13. Nah, backing losers and saying what lovely guys is what we Brits do best. The Czechs are lovely guys you know
  14. Why can't we see more permanent GP tracks, why doesn't he sign for an Elite League team? He is amazing and I would pay good money to watch him every week. He has shown in this SWC what a talent he is and that he can still do it, just to shut up the doubters (not that there are too many).
  15. Bugger, Pedersen! Pedersen, Holta, both dirty sods who I don't like, may as well be the same person IMO.
  16. It was annoying me, I check liveupdates and the heats were right but totals wrong, I checked the heats on speedwaybet.com (who are not reliable as I found on on Tuesday!) and the heats were right. So I added up the scores on live updates and I was right and then I decided to check speedayworld and they agreed. To think I wasted time trying to work out where I had gone wrong but I was right Jill, yes, again, they confused me tonight and if they confuse me another time, that will be again
  17. and Denmarks 48 not 49. I think the grafix guy didn't see lap 4 of heat 24 when Holta passed Gollob.
  18. Weird how BSIs graphics were wrong but there website was right!
  19. The Aussie may have sneaked it with Crump, if he had dropped 3 or less points, Australia would have gone through. Obviously the Danes might have upped the anti but they may have thrown in the towel too. I still think we have the best 4 teams in the final and I don't think Australia are worty of a final spot anyway.
  20. 44+2 = 46 not 47 and 57+3 = 60 not 59. Also meant your final score was wrong too. The REAL final score was, Denmark - 48 (not 49) Poland - 63 (not 62) Czech Rep - 16 Australia - 30 NOW DONT CONFUSE ME AGAIN!
