Led to believe the Scottish police still have his number 1 bike after the incident at armadale the other week,
-
Not the 1st time either they forgot or didn't want too in 2018 when comets won the treble
-
As I've previously said, the people who run British speedway have got to have a plan to go forward and help clubs survive, or move up into other leagues. but good / any planning and British speedway don't go together

Workington Comets v Belle Vue Colts 26/08/23 3pm NDL
Neila replied to topaz325's topic in National League Speedway
On a positive speedway is back in Workington, the northside arena set up is great, the track is great, big thanks to Andrew Bain and Steve Lawson , I'm enjoying following the sport ( still ) since 1970 But today's meeting we'll !! I was predicting a deafeat today, R/R can handle, but 13 last places, and carrying 2 riders, who are well off, one not even on the pace, defeat is the only outcome, should be winning home meetings and competitive away, Had a large crowd in today, how many will return for the last home match against Kent ?? Gonna keep the faith onwards and upwards -
A very enjoyable meeting last night at the NSS some very good racing, the travelling comets fans had a enjoyable visit, close meeting, if a couple of comets could gate better we could of won, unfortunate todays return could be very different belle Vue back at full strength against comets poor gating!!
-
Imo it's too early for the Comets to move up, need to have another year at this level, the people in charge of speedway need a good plan to what is going to happen in the future as its is now around 4-6 track may not be running next year, top league needs to attract some clubs to replace the ones who will/may lose their stadiums, could go on with more reasons. But it's speedway day weather looks OK get down to the northside arena and enjoy watching the comets win (hopefully)

Should be an interesting meeting today, track should ride good, belle Vue back at full strength, Comets put on a good show last night at the NSS a very enjoyable meeting, BUT the riders need their gating shoes on ,as last night all struggled to gate, and a couple of riders were very off the pace!!! Losing 3-4 points off your last year's average says it all really !!! Anyway rant over speedways back at the northside arena UTC -
Several questions previously asked, no concrete answers, several suspicions
-
Yeah can see a pole s##ting themselves seeing Plymouth after polish/Peterborough tracks
-
Regarding your new signing, maybe waiting to make sure he's not injured at Peterborough tonight, Maybe Oxford have a bigger piggy bank than Glasgow Regarding Ashton
-
A lot lot better than Mr b . Plus Ashton can ride a bike and overtake, unlike the other person mentioned did
-
Agree with what you say, but have seen the young kid 3 times this year and he's got the lot, a big future, the last rider I felt the same about at the same age was Joe screen going ride belle Vue after meetings at 15
-
What's wrong with doing that . Poole fans spam every thread
-
Conner riding for Wroclaw U24 side, and has ridden most of the season, even though he was only expecting to ride a couple of meetings
-
Also I've read that conner Bailey is serving his apprenticeship with allied vehicles/Ford so may not have been able to get time off work !! Remember at the start of the season no one wanted conner apart from worky comets
-
Very late notice when you are enjoying your 21st birthday, or a young kid and mechanic going half way over Europe for a reserve place at mostly your own expense!! What would your response be if you were asked??
-
Looks like as normal, if your face does not fit with the southern mafia you won't get picked. Even if you are the GB U21 champion
-
Maybe as previously said a 28 day injury replacement, but letting luke get experience by allowing him to ride for the Comets
-
Just making up rules to suit like Mr Godfrey does
-
Good luck to the comets and the Hardy fans who travel to cheer them on
-
Had a look last week seams to be an odd one here and there
-
Think the rules are comets keep luke, as he is a temporary replacement for Redcar, but as we know they make up the rules to suit themselves. Could be a good guest in Ashton as he is on fire at the minute paid max at berwick on Saturday having his 1st visit
