  1. Poor Tigger's does the team manager go as in football if results don't go right ?
  2. Who's bothered about a Mickey mouse football cup final, it's a speedway double header, Northside areana for the comets and station road clubb for the GP
  3. Could you mind not mentioning Workington to@@ in this thread after they dug the track up in 2019, but then again maybe Done the comets a favour now the Northside areana is up and running
  4. Would it have been better on a narrower track Geoff?
  5. Very impressed with the young lad, the race with Ben trigger was epic both neck and neck passing inside/outside for 4 laps
  6. Looking forward to see how he goes at worky 2morrow
  7. It certainly giving a lot of racing lines, even at this level. Seen a few giving it big yahoo's on the outside line, but not quite got it yet. But it will come and I can't wait to watch it, as the track/riders can only get better, standing on 1st corner looking down the straight often you can see them swapping position to line up a pass. Good to see especially at this level, god knows what a higher standard of rider will make of the track !!
  8. We will have to what Peterborough did and bring the white line in a bit, but it will still be wider than most other speedway tracks in this country
  9. Can't beat a Glasgow fan gloating on the Edinburgh page about a recurring injury
  10. Got to hand it to the promotion, trying something different speedway and music day 10th June https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=pfbid02ZAaGTNMhNvGMm6VM6SEWFYKiVDdG5QxGwQsFH4xoCmMBMcfoUAeKs9YXBm9te52Yl&id=100047803096350
  11. You'll have the wear a daft hat like Roy Clark does
  12. Unfortunately Geoff looks like Kelsey has a broken wing. So could be out for a while.
  13. Think tonight's win for the comets is the 1st time the bullets have been beaten at home !! UTC
  14. 2nd meeting at the northside arena for these 2 old rivals, going back to April 1970. Can only see a comet's win after seeing the team at berwick winning well UTC
  15. Agree and the metors win as well a good band of travelling fans making a bit noise, part 2 at the northside 2morrow
  16. Just went to buy an advance e ticket for tonight, but surprised that it is same price as on the gate, may have to be more organised and book before the days event !!
  17. Supporters bus coming over and a few cars, hope you got plenty of beers in the bar, be good to support the comets at an away track again UTC
  18. To me that's common sense, but this does not exist in speedway, and would upset Godfrey and co if we tried . Also a fixture that has only been put in the calendar in the last week !!
  19. Nowt wrong with this week's star. as plenty of Workington coverage in it Hopefully same this week #UTC
  20. Geoff tough as it maybe, but Kelsey only keeping Luke's seat warm for a while, give the full time comet extra experience, on a better note what a great afternoon of speedway, onwards and upwards UTC
  21. Also said drink/food would be available on 1st bend area as well as marquee which is towards turn 3 in among the trees
  22. E that's right great to have the comets reborn thanks to the management and sponsors to get it this far UTC
