Sorry I was looking at the other flat track site, dirt track riders, looks to be at least 2 different organisations

Are you sure you have the correct weekend, as nothing listed on the dirt track riders website, they are the ones who ran the event at the end of April

The last flat track a few weeks ago was free entry, 140 riders racing went on most of the day, I was down for a couple of hours looked to be well organised, bikes waiting for next heat before the previous one had finished

Maybe had the backing to provide very good machines when in the NDL and lower ranks, doing very well , but now up against the big boys in the leagues, may have the macharry but not the knowledge or experience to do well. Maybe too much too soon when in a lower level ? Been a few riders like that over the years Kyle Bickley one of them

That will be a financial issue for several clubs who got money from loaning out several riders who were on the books

Would have to be at the track to do that, going by the lunchtime cry off suspect he was sitting on his sofa watching TV 🙃 so a non speedway injury so is that a 7 day ban ? So won't be available to face the comets on Saturday?

Seems to happen a lot at most tracks I think it's the "random " starting system not working as it should, same as the transponders

Get what you are saying and would probably be a good option if allowed. But both of these clubs run under Nora, but the bspa don't like Nora, so maybe the young kid will not be allowed to do it by the powers that be !!

If you mean boughen, then no, yes has/had the potential, but got a bit lost whether it's a mental issue or something else, you have to remember his disappearing act a couple of years ago at worky , still haven't got to the bottom of that one !!!

It's berwick and same goes for most teams, they build to a budget, and can't just flash the cash to try and strengthen the team, and where do you think these riders are gonna come from !!

Aston has/had talent but seems to have lost confidence or something else going on, I can remember when he disappeared !!! from worky a couple of years ago . At the moment needs time to get things together then start slowly, not riding in premiership and cut down on trips abroad, until he gets his mojo back.

You should see then late at night, all sorts of bits of flesh hanging out 😗

Maybe looking to make a come back, can remember meeting him in the cradley bar back in the day when the worky boys were on a bank weekend tour 😀

Lots of water put on the concrete track, as they is usually no dirt on it, be like an ice rink

@THE DEAN MACHINE can get what you are saying about the GP needs to be an event. Been to Cardiff numerous times and Warsaw twice, great event/ city to attend. Where belle Vue is a great track, normally go once or twice a year from Workington, but not attending the GP due to the lack of areas to socialise before the meeting and the area around the stadium is not that pleasant to say the least. Be watching tonight's GP in a Workington social club with hopefully a few fans and a few beers . Up Dan Bewley

A fantastic meeting watching on TV, usually go to Cardiff, but knowing the area around belle Vue does not lead to a good social day out before the speedway, I and others I know opted out of going. Yes we missed a fellow Cumbrian Dan Bewley winning again. Going to a local club tonight to watch, just hope discovery have realised that the camera work was very poor and have called BSN to help them out . Hopefully a good racing meeting like last night and another win for Dan Bewley

Also a southern based ex speedway rider had several burger vans
