Yes but I would not travel to Poole to watch the pairs or riders championship, but when the Comets go I have a couple of days on the south coast as a holiday, my wife gets it as a break to follow the Comets, but does not get it to follow just speedway. And I must admit after what is going on in the speedway world, regarding big gaps in the fixtures I am losing interest in the sport I've been watching every year since 1970, Comets or no Comets

But you forgot that could be another nites accommodation to stay over for a meeting on Sunday more expense over what is not a cheap few nites away,after a weekend in Manchester or people need to get home for work / school on Monday

Not blaming the riders or families here . It's more of most fans are fed up of the big gaps between fixtures so these events can be attended by UK and European riders, then fixtures are rescheduled and low and behold it's a guest fest . It's time them in charge of UK speedway ran without large gaps in the summer, guest fest or not

Think I have seen something that dan said he would not be riding for belle Vue for the rest of this season and everyone was happy with the job Jason Doyle is doing . Not sure if this is allowed under the injury rules

As I've said above Poole and Oxford are not affected by the many weekends of various European fixtures ( not polish leagues ) where weekend clubs are missing several riders or missing meetings to allow riders to travel to these events

It's alright for you lot riding midweek these Mickey mouse meetings don't affect Poole and Oxford at home, most other clubs have had blank weekends or guest tests due to the official and Mickey mouse FIM meetings, and more and more are appearing. The majority of fans are fed up with it and are walking away from speedway due to this lack of fixtures especially in the summer. We have had one of the best summer on record, but most teams have gone several weeks without home fixtures

Another mickey mouse meeting . Get the young riders need to get experience abroad and racing against European riders, but yet again British speedway fans suffer for this.

Lawson cost Poole a place in the final by not just racing and forgetting what was going on behind him. Always a good race @LisaColette especially when pilots get beat at home in the semi final 😜🙃

Going into next season maybe the fixtures should be home one week and away the next, like football. That way at least you know your gonna see 2 meetings a month, and don't avoid foreign rounds of various Mickey mouse FIM meetings just draft a guest in, that way you still keep the 1 home meeting every 2 weeks

That's why many pilots fans won't be there, and season tickets not valid either, just imagine pilots fans cheering on a race with Comets V Bandits or scunny V Redcar 🤣

Warsaw will guarantee a 50000 crowd even if it's a temporary track, and I would think it's a lot cheaper to hire than Cardiff, so unfortunately think we have seen the last of Cardiff

But any Danish riders are gonna choose Denmark on a Wednesday as a lot of their sponsors are Danish so need the exposure in their home country before Poole on a Wednesday nite

Bit early to start this as points limit not known, league structure not known, heard a rumour due to proposed low points limit in the championship, both Poole and Glasgow going to move up, in order to have top riders in their teams, as fans maybe reluctant to watch many lesser quality riders. Also the proposed polish rule limiting 1 league only needs confirmed

But don't forget the various Mickey mouse FIM U 21 and U 23 meetings to slot in at many weekends, look how many weekend meetings cairns Harrison and Rushen were required to do

Well it won't be the 5th as Redcar away at Berwick or the 12th as it's the riders championship, my guess is one of the Sundays following these meetings, but that depends on which riders have polish commitments

Yes, seems like the tyres are crap, but the track conditions don't help, it's not only Poole, similar happened at Northampton earlier in the season, and other places I'm led to believe, at the end of the day it's a major safety issue with the tyres and some tracks. But them in charge are doing an impression of ostriches
