Yes equivalent to 300 paying punters
-
Yea but them in charge of speedway took 2 points off us
-
The last crowd at Poole was reported to be well over 2000, if true the extra money made should go towards the cost of replacing the air fence, where other/most clubs get a lot less than 1000 people, then these clubs look at various fund raising options
-
No because we are expecting it, good to have speedway to support win lose or draw π
-
He took a fall at Plymouth on Saturday but rode on, maybe something to do with that
-
Wouldn't it be funny if Richings scored more points than the guy who got his place Cairns π
-
See pilots management must be hard up, apparently a new air fence is being bought for next season, they are putting some race jackets from a junior individual event, up for auction to raise funds π€£
-
Hope pilots management have got the tape issues fixed, won't want the start marshal to risk his life standing in the safety zone again π

I was down as a comets fan, got to agree crowd levels are a lot better than the same fixture last year, so bigger crowd equals more spending in food/drink outlets, so win win for the promotion, the announcer was good, the mascot interaction with the crowd was good not over the top, and acknowledged the travelling comets fans, some interesting races, if a Plymouth or neutral fan, but not as a comets fan βΉοΈ one negative the length of the track grade and interval, it took over 2.5 hours to complete 15 heats of speedway, yesterday heat 14 was re run umpteen times, but 150 minutes to do 15 heats come on βΉοΈ hopefully back to Plymouth next year with the comets -

Stop talking about p###e on other threads, thought you did not like them π -
Isn't Greg Hancock his advisor/manager, probably on a % cut, so someone will benefit from all the extra meetings, I said earlier on here that I thought he was doing too much too soon, but just wait and see, just hope the next young kid Cooper Rushden, keeps more grounded ?

Was some good races but from a comets point of view too many last/non scoring) races, 11 of them. can't get an away win or bonus point with this many no scores, and only 4 heat wins, tough watch on the terraces from the 15-20 comets fans who made the 800 mile round trip -

Fookin ell never seen this score coming, in Bristol visiting family, hope its a better performance at Plymouth 2morrow -
Not knocking the kid, he looked great in the NDL, but once he's turned 16 imo he is on the road to burn out, in the last week guest bookings in championship, meetings in Sweden and Poland, then back to Poole, and has not scored a lot of points, surely you start slowly to get used to riding at a higher standard, then get extra meetings, look at the last wonder kid, he did similar now retired after 2 years in the top tiers
-
Yes just turned 16 but signed for Poole who expected him to score points, imo the young kid is doing too much too soon, Poole and guest bookings in the UK Poland under 24 and Sweden, and NDL just look what happened to the last young hope Aston boughen who has disappeared after burning out doing too much
