You can look at scores any way you want. I was at a wedding so wasn't there. Peter got 5 the first match and 16 the second match. Drew only dropped points when he had a retirement in the first match. As I said, you can look at scoring any way you want. Would you have said Drew wouldn't win a race apart from against the 2 reserves?

Can look at meetings any way you like. Just looking at the 1st meeting program and updates for Saturday past. Dan scored 8 and r/r scored 8. Leon scored 5+1 and his rides scored 2+1 Craig scored 10 and r/r scored 7. Ben scored 6 and Sam scored 6. Looks like missing riders cancel each other out as Nagel not raced any away matches for Glasgow to judge his score on. Would say it would still have been close with both teams at full strength.

Iversen racing tonight so looks good for him returning.

Last week's pairs meeting was raced (with Poland one of the teams) against the polish championship round. This week's meeting raced when there is a SEC round on. Seems to be a lot of clashes with other meetings for them to be important.

Was watching round 2 from Poland on Saturday. Couldn't be that important a meeting when it's raced against a round of the Polish championships.

Let's hope when he goes to armadale he doesn't hit the pot holes on the inside line (Scott Nicholls) or ride the bumpy track (Oscar Polis). All tracks have their flaws (including Edinburgh).

What did Scotty say about the track when interviewed after heat 15? What did Polis say about the track in the Evening news? Maybe the track has some flaws the same as all other tracks.

If Kerr was going to pass him fairly, then surely Thomson would have shut off and stayed on for 3rd place. Would that not have left Ipswich needing a 5-1 in the last heat to force a superheat? Who then knows what would happen in 15 as possibly not the same 4 riders as selected.

I think Craig has done ok as well when he's been available. It would be ok if he had only missed 2 meetings (with no rain offs etc). Unfortunately there will probably be another 2 or 3 meetings he would have missed if the Workington situation hadn't arrisen or the Edinburgh match wasnt rained off.

Is it not when Berwick race Glasgow? Will be good with possibly 2 from each team missing as Sam was racing also.

Kyle Howarth said earlier in the season that he wasn't feeling the best but he didn't want a 7 day ban (missing for a non speedway injury) so he raced. If others don't get a ban he now has this reason as an excuse to miss said meeting (as arnieg has already stated).

Maybe he has a prior engagement? Is this not one of the re arranged meetings that have been swapped around to allow the league to fit in the KOC meetings.

If Drew had shown any aggression towards Justin he would have received a fine for bringing the sport into disrepute. When riders have squared up to each other at Berwick they have been fined. Remember Woofy saying last year to just let the riders fight instead of fining the riders. He said that despite all the brilliant races Emil has been involved in over the years, the clip on YouTube that has more views than all of them is the one where he is fighting with Scott Nicholls.

Let's hope everything gets sorted out and Workington are back next week. Just goes to show working holidays around speedway isn't the best idea (Workington fans with hotels booked). I also delayed our holiday for a couple of days (when booking) so ironically if Berwick have a match on 12th (was originally due at Oxford), I will still be on holiday.

If it's that close I would say it could be tactical. If Masters had scored a couple more points in the meeting (for a rider of his calibre scoring 5 points from 5 rides is possible) then for the month of July Max Fricke wouldn't have been able to take a r/r ride. Getting hammered 23-7 makes it possible. I would be for my team doing the same. Before last night Masters was above Becker in the rolling averages.

Tactical? Passed Becker in the averages last time I looked but that score could put him back below Luke. Keeps Fricke getting a r/r ride.
