Ipswich vs King’s Lynn Thursday 21st August
Gambo95 replied to ShanoXtra's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Obviously must be the way Ipswich want the riders. If Dan Thomson was last in heat 15 instead of Jason Edwards then he would be 6.00 and still at reserve. -

Adam could be at reserve according to the averages on the British speedway website. Think you should have some scope to have your top 5 wherever you want. -

Teams should be able to put the riders where they want in the top 5. Being restricted with having the RS at 7 means no option at reserve (at least in the championship you can have your reserves any way round). With having to have your best rider at 1 means you are limited there also (Belle Vue are also better with Kurtz at 1 and Bewley at 5 as an example). -
Maybe the team will be left with riders staying at the same numbers? Every time Ipswich have moved the riders about it's backfired (Sheffield and Kings Lynn spring to mind).

Ipswich have been to Belle Vue 3 times this season (so far). Only 1 Ipswich rider has beat Dan Bewley in those 3 meetings. Would think Ipswich would win but as you say nothing guaranteed (2 seasons ago Ipswich beat Belle Vue when they weren't favoured to do so in the playoffs).

Still missed a year of racing when banned. -
Problems with SGP

Maybe 4 years of missing out on racing at the top level (and missing out on the extra sponsorship) would have something to do with your point. Jack Holder and Dan Bewley got into the championship when they were kicked out. -
Glasgow v Edinburgh KO cup second leg
Gambo95 replied to Weeyin's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I said this when Jack Holder had a family emergency and was criticised for it when I said he should get a ban (Craig Cook was serving a ban at the time). Others said the same thing in that you could be ill and say there is a family emergency. -
See Jake Allen agrivated an injury during heat 15 last night. Was he signed off as there was nothing mentioned last night when I looked at the Scunthorpe report on their website. Seems convenient with moving him to number 2 for the Berwick meeting. Also nothing mentioned on the British speedway or Berwick speedway websites this morning.

Ipswich Witches vs Oxford Spires Thursday 7th August

Same with Jason and Emil. Can therefore decide who is at number 1 and who is at reserve for the play offs. -

You can look at scores any way you want. I was at a wedding so wasn't there. Peter got 5 the first match and 16 the second match. Drew only dropped points when he had a retirement in the first match. As I said, you can look at scoring any way you want. Would you have said Drew wouldn't win a race apart from against the 2 reserves? -

Can look at meetings any way you like. Just looking at the 1st meeting program and updates for Saturday past. Dan scored 8 and r/r scored 8. Leon scored 5+1 and his rides scored 2+1 Craig scored 10 and r/r scored 7. Ben scored 6 and Sam scored 6. Looks like missing riders cancel each other out as Nagel not raced any away matches for Glasgow to judge his score on. Would say it would still have been close with both teams at full strength. -
Glasgow v Berwick Friday 25th July
Gambo95 replied to AndiCapp's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Last week's pairs meeting was raced (with Poland one of the teams) against the polish championship round. This week's meeting raced when there is a SEC round on. Seems to be a lot of clashes with other meetings for them to be important. -

Was watching round 2 from Poland on Saturday. Couldn't be that important a meeting when it's raced against a round of the Polish championships. -

Let's hope when he goes to armadale he doesn't hit the pot holes on the inside line (Scott Nicholls) or ride the bumpy track (Oscar Polis). All tracks have their flaws (including Edinburgh). -

I think Craig has done ok as well when he's been available. It would be ok if he had only missed 2 meetings (with no rain offs etc). Unfortunately there will probably be another 2 or 3 meetings he would have missed if the Workington situation hadn't arrisen or the Edinburgh match wasnt rained off. -

Thanks. Didn't see the results, I was just going with the British team being 2 Glasgow and 2 Berwick riders. Seen earlier in the week it was on that Saturday for the final. -

Is it not when Berwick race Glasgow? Will be good with possibly 2 from each team missing as Sam was racing also.
