Talking of rules are riders allowed to take the shortcut to tapes over the white line and around the tapes? Noticed it on more than one occasion at Manchester GPs.

Most other venues are well organised and have extra facilities and extra food/drink outlets. Belle Vue had the same issues at the SON but did not learn any lessons. There were also ticketing issues at the SON too with valid tickets being rejected.

Belle vue have put out this information. No apology for the shambles organisation.

Was Mark Lemon not partly responsible? Same issues as SON thought they would have learnt from then!

Great speedway! Best gp of the year by far. Shame about the organisation with ticket/catering issues as I mentioned before the event. Thought lessons would have been learnt from SON. Well done Bewley 👏

Let me tell you the rail replacement (DB) bus service (towards Munich) from the nearest train station (Gündlkofen) was just as much as a shambles. As was the journey there on the train. Certainly would go by car if I went to Landshut again. Would expect the official shuttle service to be better than you have described.

Don't really on the DB too much. Train was supposed to stop at the station I was waiting at and flew past 🤣

Changing topic (and not that it makes any difference to the outcome) did anyone else notice the coin toss it sounded like Tobias Musielak called tails and when heads came out Jason Harrold (who I think does a good job) said heads it is and gave Tobi the call who chose 1 and 3. Maybe a case of mishearing/accent.

Fair enough I hadn't realised heat 15 didn't count so I stand corrected on that. But Doyle was still on paid 9 same as Thompson. I would have liked to see the best riders from both teams in those extra heats.
