  1. Anyone see the build up to this… lambert saying he can show bewley and Brennan the racing lines 😂
  2. I’m deffo not 😂 - a big crowd for stadiums that never see top riders yes, but IMP isn’t followed by that many poles is what I’m saying… not the crowd numbers for that meeting.
  3. Because Polish sponsors pay more than other countries most probably… you could say why did Manchester stage it? They didn’t exactly get 15,000 either did they? They would have never filled this stadium 😂 Also, only stupid English people pay £150 for a ticket. Poles don’t want to even pay £40-90 for this event. But Britain is starved of top riders so people pay it. If you saw Ekstraliga every other week would you have paid £150 for Manchester?
  4. Don’t know why people keep going on about the crowd 😂 I wasn’t joking when I said Poland aren’t bothered about SWC or SoN! Probably not that many watching on TV either! They go wild for their club and SGP is the only real individual meeting they watch! They don’t even really follow Polish Ind. Championship or SEC.
  5. It’s complicated, I wrote before about the need for 9 million zloty and the guarantor required for loan. Yesterday it was assessed as now 8.3 million due to the movement of clubs for Fajfer. This is the first move from the club to start the financial recovery and to show intent. Many clubs in the top league and M.2 wrote it would be better for stal to declare relegation before the match, there is heavy pressure. The club wrote a statement claiming they will fight and do what it takes to stay in the league, other top league teams wish the demise of Stal so they can secure Thomsen or Holder for cheap, and M.2 clubs the demise will mean one will gain automatic promotion. For other INFO regarding tomorrow: Fajfer is declared ZZ.
  6. I would go as far as saying he single handedly kept Bydgoszcz in with a fighting chance! I’m in Gorzow now staying with the family and going to the Sunday match so it will be interesting to see him live!
  7. Well I’d say only one still remembers what they used to know 😂😂😂
  8. Louis knows a lot about the sport and riders from multiple countries, I think he becomes somewhat embarrassed sometimes and doesn’t want to keep correcting Tatum, maybe Louis and someone else would be fine.
  9. Any shouts for Hausel or Bloedorn to take Kai’s place in SGP 😂👊🏻
  10. Congrats Germany and deserved it! Rode amazing! Imagine if this was in Britain, would have been “this sums up British speedway” the champions are; one rider from Seychelles and one female beat the worlds U21 top riders 😂
  11. I hope and Cairns would be better to stay with the same team for a few years.
  12. Will cairns would have been a shout, experience for his future races on large tracks, he has already had more experience on these tracks than the other two as he rides for Falubaz U24.
  13. Well done Dan. He hasn’t let himself or GB down and had a solid night!
  14. Might have been a better roll of the dice to throw in this team line up will cairns
  15. Anyone know if the witches fan club are close enough to Chris Louis to allow some flags to be staged around the stadium prior to the meeting Thursday night? Was thinking of trying to get a decent size crowd flag and seeing if they would allow it to be put somewhere. Shame you can’t get the atmosphere like you do in Poland with blue, white and yellow smoke or big crowd TIFOs that could be laid on the stand that isn’t occupied to give a nice feel when you enter the stadium and for the TV. Can get 10m by 10m for a few hundred quid custom made!
  16. Could of held it Friday night in the stadium and packed the meeting out for the juniors 😂
  17. Bubba will be a spoiler for Saturday I’m sure, he beats parnitskyi and rides in a more challenging Ekstraliga instead of M.2… both riders are great and fun to watch!
  18. Fernando Garcia always dreamt of being a speedway rider and when he was younger he lied to his parents telling them an English club gave him a contract. He had little money but packed his bags and flew to England, he messaged loads of teams asking for a contract. He had no vehicle or place to stay so first night slept in the airport, then next night in a hotel and then when his money was lower (funds for travel) he slept for a week in a train station. He got a message for a guest booking with Berwick and then asked if he had a bike so he said yes, although he didn’t so he found an old speedway rider and bought his bike for cheap, after that he then realised he didn’t have a way of getting the bike to the track so the old speedway riders dad sold him his old van. He completed his first guest booking scoring 3+1, but Berwick then said the injured rider was back to fitness so he wasn’t required. He went back to the old van to sleep and lived off just apples and some fruit from a garden for three days, his phone died and he thought he would call it a day and sell everything and go home telling his family it didn’t work out, when he went to a petrol station to charge his phone Berwick messaged him offering him a contract and with that he lived and rode for various teams for 6 years. The only reason he finished speedway in England was because of covid and he had to move back to Argentina.
  19. You heard the story of that Garcia guy… Jesus what a story.
  20. Argentina story of the riders how they had to buy everything, bikes, equipment, travel, hotels just to be there is pretty saddening. At least you would like to think a big crowd would have been a reward for all their efforts.
