They could show it delayed by a couple of hours -
£20 to see Oasis. Sweet.

I'm sorry, but a professional commentator has a duty to study the prevailing rules. This is useful for the casual viewing and getting it wrong just makes you look foolish to the "expert" viewer. I had to laugh when KT said Mark Lemon may consider sending Jake Mulford off 15m after his two minute infringement in heat 2.

I missed the explanation (?). Anyone know what's happened since lunchtime? -
Before today there was an unlikely mathematical possibility that the Chargers could defend their league title. But as a result of the Lion Cubs winning at Oxford this afternoon that possibility no longer exists. Congratulations to Leicester Lion Cubs - 2024 NDL Champions

You would think that they would also put it on the website (or did I just not look hard enough?). [Edit: I've found it]

Surely this is a case of use it, or lose it. Being able to attend a prestigious GP for less than we pay to go to a league match is almost unbelievable. Don't get me wrong. Belle Vue has the potential for better racing. But looking at the big picture, Cardiff wins hands down in terms of a weekend event with no risk of the weather spoiling the event itself. The fear is that if we lose Cardiff, the British GP won't survive.

The overriding impression was that the crowd looked pretty good in the stadium but that a lot less people stayed over. In particular it was quiet in the town on Friday evening and there were less fans out and about during the day on Saturday.

Last time I looked we race on shale Ask Sheffield -
I've bought my tickets from Ticketmaster and got them straightaway on the website. Why do you need hard copies?

Perhaps we could get Glasgow to rejoin the party

Before I start, I should declare that I am a long standing nerd who feels sometimes like the only person who really cares about race times and track records. I know this isn't really true but you know what I mean. On the subject of Sheffield's track record, I have often thought that it was appropriate that Ricky Ashworth would probably remain as the named track record in Sheffield's race programmes forever. I wasn't aware that Jack had posted a new TR (and neither do Sheffield, apparently, as Ricky is still named as the TR holder on their website). But the discrepancy between the new official time of 58.92 and the 62.19 high edge says he has timed "by hand" from the video, is not a small amount. Can the video replay speed be a factor? I really hope that it's not a function of using transponders.

I think there's plenty of folks on here (and lots of recent youtube clips) that would disagree with that analysis. But each to his own. Live and let live, eh? -
Have Sam and Tom signed for Ipswich then?
