  1. In the Championship section, a lot of people are asking why the final averages are not out yet as there will be changes due to Eastbourne's withdrawal but some posters are saying that all the promoters will have an up-to-date copy & that is why teams are now announcing riders. The Premiership should also have their copy.
  2. Just read on Leicester thread but only confirmed by an e-mail & not on the Leicester website that team building is to a 42 point limit.
  3. Sorry, mis-read your post thinking staying in top league in Poland.
  4. Team average, for 2021, including RS rating was 41. (39 + 2 or 38 + 3)
  5. Daugavpils are in Polish 2 Liga in 2022 so Adam Ellis is free to ride in 2 other leagues. Plymouth named 5 riders & 3 are heat leaders with approx. 23.4 average. Bowtell signed as a RS? but has an approx. 5.2 average & Atkins a RS also? No B Barker! If TJ is possibly Redcar bound then options for either Ellis or Barker, though Ellis preferred.
  6. Just going off riders not riding for other teams & Rob trying to get riders that do well at the EWR then Douglas Allen Jorgensen Lambert Mountain Kennedy Palin or if 2 x RS Douglas Allen Jorgensen Lambert Mountain/Kennedy Gilkes Palin If 38/39 were the limits this year for 1 x RS then removing a reserve to fit 2 x RS in then limit could be 34 but I can not see where the riders are coming from for their(BSP L) 5 year plan. All the 3 & 4* riders might now have averages applied due to riding experience whereas the 1 & 2* riders, in 2021, have another year.
  7. Rawicz. Polish 2 Liga. Same team as Masters & Pickering. Some poster said riding on Saturdays.
  8. Who is going to pay for the increase in points? THE FANS!
  9. Probably helped by having a team mate called Ryan who knows the best set ups & racing lines around the EWR.
  10. Adam Ellis signs for Daugavpils. Polish Division 2?
  11. Rather have Zaine Kennedy than A Morris after being released by Leicester.
  12. Nearly all are otherwise there would be a backlash & struggle to get out of there. Riders say what supporters hopefully want to hear. Nothing will be said definitive until announced by the club.
  13. It, also, seemed very strange as all the riders were British (no outgoings for flights)
  14. Could the riders take Ian Jordan to court for unpaid wages through the Small Claims Procedure? I have never liked the idea that unpaid riders are threatened with a 28 day ban if they refuse to ride.
  15. So, in your opinion, nothing to do with the ".............. hallmark of the current mafia board" of which you alluded to.
  16. Could he be a family member, friend or sponsor. That could explain it.
  17. Any idea what day will be the race day for the U24 league if the riders can not race on the same day as their Ekstraliga teams? Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Monday is the choice for the Ekstraliga at the moment. Very fluent.
  18. Please, I would be interested to know your opinion to why these clubs closed or have problems. Rye House Workington Lakeside Swindon Somerset Eastbourne Birmingham Newcastle Genuine question!
  19. I would think that this is a bit hard to enforce as 1 rider has already been to court for freedom of work to ride in 2 leagues. Plus, how would you reduce the number of double league riders.
  20. If team not fully sorted, could Gilkes be tempted up North.
  21. Absolutely false. The Friday night pecking order is Edinburgh, Scunthorpe, Glasgow & Redcar. The sad demise of Workington was caused through their late start in putting a team together which meant paying higher than normal wages. Their brilliant season, winning the treble, also, was a high price to pay in wages & towards the end of the season when there was a lot of meetings to squeeze in to a small time frame, punters picked & chose their meetings. The Godfrey saga was based on being unable to find guests when teams changed from their normal race night to fit in a Friday night meeting.
