  1. I guess you was not there Lisa as 1 poster says that you are a Poole Armchair supporter but it was a loss of 16 points(50-34).
  2. Apparently, I have it from a good source(away from Scunthorpe) that Tero is having problems with his visa as he was not given an elite sportspersons visa at the start of the season.
  3. It is overcast but warm at the moment but pockets of rain are on the radar, of which some might hit & some might miss but overall should not cause an undue problem.
  4. Exactly my point. They (BSP Ltd or SCB) make the rules, do not explain them clearly with grey areas found in the RS process this year alone never mind dodgy signings on false averages & team changes. Even though we are now in to September, there will have been a few Promoter meetings at Rugby around the AGM & rules for 2022 & it would not surprise me that Plymouth & Kings Lynn are not the only ones to have made signings in readiness for 2022 just not announced.
  5. Didn't they make up a 5 year plan for the Rising Stars so surely they should see it through although I have not seen anything in print about what happens in year 2, then year 3, etc. They are not going to change the rules year after year just to confuse us. This year, most posters were saying that this year was about getting started & getting through this difficult period but now it is the business end, their views have changed.
  6. Although the results state that they have performed poorly this year, the management feels that, with bargain averages, we will keep the septet in 2022.
  7. awkward track prep then. Less dirt for Steve & more dirt for Danny is how they like it.
  8. Aarnio only just having problems, not ages ago, unless you know more? Is NBJ still injured?
  9. I would think they will enjoy the wide open spaces of the EWR, as most riders do.
  10. I am afraid not. Any rider can not guest 2 weeks running unless it is for the home teams no1.
  11. Watch some YouTube clips of Cookie then or even from your own website. Been doing it for years.
  12. Must be on a guarantee as was brought in as a top rider to improve our away form as well ( still need the others to perform though) but he should be doing better on current British form. Whether he is on a guarantee to score 9 but he should be scoring similar to Masters or thereabouts as he rides the technical tracks(Edinburgh & Wolves) whereas Scunthorpe is more open, Ellis has done well on the technical ones in the past. We need the 10/11 from 4 or 13/14 from 5 & not the 6-8 that we are seeing. But others do need to step up also & when racing, look around for their partner. Pijper is missing Aarnio in this area of riding at 3 & 4. On Friday, even though Macdonald was making some gates, he was racing with & holding up his faster team leaders with them showing their frustrations later.
  13. Looking through Kent's updates, they sometimes have the interval & grade(it might happen regularly but not mentioned on site) but they have never come back like this. Is this because we do not grade at the end of meetings & adapt? Frustrated and f*$k!^" fuming at the moment. Going for a
  14. I can't believe what I have just witnessed, well , read but this is shocking & an absolute shambles thinking the job was done. We do have decent heat leaders when they turn up but other teams have better & more consistent at the business end of meetings(heats 11 - 15 as shown on Friday) & we have not learnt. Riders & management are to blame & it will be interesting to hear Dave Peets take on precedings! Ok, prior to meeting I would have been happy with 1 point but again, we throw it away. The last thing I want to see/hear is "after the interval we didn't adapt & they(Kent) adapted to the change".
  15. Probably true knowing what Palin scored as a guest & Aarnio's troubles on tighter tracks. We know Nicol scored well for us at Poole & Mountain scored well on Friday but are some of our guests just going through the motions earning their expenses rather than helping us & hurting their own teams, especially at this time of the year. A little more incentive (£s) might help us if Rob would just dig a bit deeper into his pockets but not bowing to rider demands but paying that little bit more to aid the saying "I'll scratch your back if you'll scratch mine". Even the top riders can score differently as in recent cases of guest riding in either league. Over the past month, Cook, Worrall & Lawson have had poor to mediocre scores (although Worrall scored well at Leicester on Saturday - 12 pt max getting set ups & track knowledge for future meetings)
  16. Just looked in SS, 1 point for a draw at home from 12 meetings.
  17. Piraterna have hardly used Thomas or Adam this year as have not seen their names much in the results in SS.
  18. We was hoping that with Andersen at Glasgow & we know how that faired. Nothing less than the minimum of a point required tonight.
  19. Expected more from Andersen at Glasgow but can not fault Mountain for his score & effort(was never going to score what Aarnio has done recently at home)
  20. Hardly the fault of the Government, it is the general public that think covid has gone since some/most/all the restrictions have gone & do not use common sense.
  21. I normally say that(Clegg at Redcar) but in Andersen was hoping the track would suit him like last week but after a mediocre/average score for Berwick, I was hoping, again, for lightening to strike twice.
  22. What hammering? Was you there Fozzie? We were in front from heat 1 to 9 & made them use a T/S & was still level after heat 11! It was only because, again, shale left on the infield of the track when it would have been better used on the outside of the track bends giving us something a bit more to attack on. We struggled at the business end of the meeting where they stepped up. Simple!
  23. Lightening might be ok but no rain. Still, cant see us getting a result, might get loser points. Berwick did us a favour beating Kent but they got a point. Posters asking about cut off date, whether it has been extended by a week, but unfair on teams that have got their meetings done & dusted. Will results count in the league placings after 17th September as that was the original date for play offs to start.
  24. Family issues not mental issues now sorted hence his return. If he appeared to be smiling after a race win against Andersen at Leicester, his head is in the right place.
