  1. Steve, just take a pull mate. We down here are all sick of this weather, Matt will be doing U turns and Glyns good work has yet to be shown in its fully glory, but it will eventually, we know the country has had its fair share, and no doubt other clubs are in the same boat. No pun intended. Hopefully, the weather will improve and we can get back to what this forum is about, talking Speedway.
  2. I think you will find Gordon very interesting, and enlightening with his views on all things speedway. Very knowledgable man.
  3. I hope your right, but i doubt our boys will take it for granted.
  4. Thats right Wolfie, i could see it coming, although i have not see the track as i have to use these square wheeled bus's, but i could visulise it. With the amount of rain we have had in the last dew days it was a forgone conclusion to me, i was like every fan hoping again hope. Its getting quite anoying, and thats being polite.
  5. No its not on you know that as well as i do. Get off the wind up roundabout and join Brum.
  6. Perhaps you want to get off the wind up roundabout mate. Its been awful down here, and we are all p'eed off about it. Nothing to do with being running scared, you will see that in due course...
  7. I dont like Boris Steve, he always seems to be spoiling for a War.. I expect he has his own fully equiped furnished bunker ready to go.. Like all the other so called big wigs.
  8. P'ing down in Poole town centre from what ive been told Steve. you cannot pack a sodden track steve.
  9. Raining here as well Arthur, this is getting boring.
  10. Well, the forcast later is for heavier rain, i hope that doesnt turn up as then we would have no chance. As i said y'day, if the track is as sodden as i think there's no way Glyn will be able to get machinery on the track, he would just pull everything up on the tyres. I think its one of those, just wait hope and see.
  11. The track will still be Sodden steve, thanfully we had a reliativly dry day y'day. But its showery here this morning, i have no idea what the track will look like, ive not seen it as you know i have to use those square wheeled bus's, and its been bank holiday, but at a guess it will be sodden. if it stays like this then there is half a chance, if it get heavier later then i doubt it will be on. its dull damp air with no drying wind.
  12. Thats Essex, this is Poole. A 150 ml away. Its showery here with expected heavier rain later..
  13. And as i said many times if you read my posts, i felt sorry for Kyle.
  14. Just watched the press day video, very professionally put together by Speedway portal. Very good. And as ive just told Gary, no, you wont be winning at Poole ..
  15. Kyle was unlucky mate, the time he was out would have made a difference as to who Matt could have brought in on that average. Yes it was a shame but thats how it is. I suppose Matt could have got guests untill kyle returned, but by then he may not have been able to fit Kyle back in. Its one of those mate.
  16. But still be a lot of standing water Steve. Had we been racing today that would have been shiifted and we would have been on, we need a pretty dry day tmz, and the forcast is for heavy showers. so i would still say touch and go.
  17. Nobodys safe mate, you know as well as i do, Matt will give riders a fair crack of the whip, but to be fair he gave KK to much slack last season. We must give the newbies a while to bed in, im sure Matt will do that.
  18. Lisa, all our boys said its good, and eventually, given a dry spell, if we ever get one, it will be even better. but we do need a clear week with no rain a bit of sun and a drying wind.
