  1. Get off my case re my spelling i think im entitled to make the odd mistake after what ive been through as i say, you are welcome to swap places... Nothing wrong with our track, Glyn did very well to get the meeting on given it was under water in the morning. it will be far better when we get some settled weather and turns 1-2 bed in properly which they havnt really had a chance to do.. All its done down here is rain.
  2. Early days mate, im sure that average will drop a bit as the season progress's
  3. yeh but at least his lauguage hasnt been as as colourful, as the former mentioned mate. He should have gone, and i dont know why the mods didnt take heed.
  4. Think he should have been banned a while ago Steve for his comments on here.
  5. Think a lot of our riders will appreciate the track. could be close.
  6. Thank you Lisa. I only thought kids played there game. Still..
  7. 2 weeks inishally, which will be extended. I just want to see Chris sort his problems out first and formost, then don the pirate colours again.
  8. Sure it was a public event, and we have nothing to hide, but wouldnt your club like a little home track advantage. As a well known supermarket says, every little helps..
  9. Yep he has mate. got to give him credit. When he explained to me what he had done on bends 1-2 i thought good. When, we get some consistant dry weather then it will come into its own. but at the moment he is battling against the eliments. But it will come. once we get the dry weather.., The main thing the meeting went ahead on Weds.. Next week looks very promising..
  10. ? Heard of something called rain mate. We have had plenty of it. Our track was under water in the morning as the forcast was wrong yet again, Glyn had his doubts, he worked wonders the meeting was on whats the problem ?
  11. 6 mtrs mate, wont make a hell of a lot of difference . But it was touched on in the post match conference, which i wont disclose on here. Only those that were there will know what was said...
  12. Sorry Rob, but please prove, that the rules are changed to suit Poole. The rules are there for every club, and every club has the same opportunities.
  13. Why should i say that ? Im very happy with the result, and very happy that the meeting went ahead, and im very happy that we have a promoter like Matt ford, who, along with track curators Glyn and Neil, personally busted a gut to make sure this meeting went ahead. And believe me, from what Glyn told me it wasnt a foregone conclusion. I thought the win was very satifactory under the circumtances, and we will only get bettier and so will the track when, we get some consistant dry weather.. James had a bad night and it was right of Neil to replace him. Now after seeing my Neuro surgeon today being driven in a Square wheel hospital trransport Ambulance then going down the stadium i am completely shattered, so i wont be long out of bed. I may have to get up during the night for a toilet break, but im very happy with tonights result, i wont be losing any sleep that i do get.. as the song goes, things can only get better.. Piratepride.
  14. Yep used to enjoy the Goodies. I also like the theme tune.. I also used to like watching Johnny Ball, he was very interesting.
  15. Just to tell everybody Poole and BV fans. The bumper speedway star will be on sale in the club shop tomorrow night. So if you have missed out then go along and grab one. And at the same time im sure all Poole fans will be interested in the goodies in the shop..
  16. As are many others, funny that..The club must be doing something right, we are being talked about.
  17. No rain here this afternoon so far. With the forcast good tomorrow, Glyn will have a fighting chance. Today, i expect there to be puddles on the turns, especially turn 3, that will b delt with, and the track will be sodden but as soon as Glyn can get on the track tomorrow he will start turning it over, and providing the forcast is correct then it should dry out reasonably quickly. We do have a warm breeze, atm, so in the open of the stadium that is going to help although it is still a bit overcast. Fingers crossed.
