It's a meaningless meeting now , you might get it staged after the final -
Order some nice weather for next Wednesday please , we're popping in to see the Wolves meeting on our way to Ipswich

Not by heat 1 , had only three pints in the bar by then -
Agree with everything that's been said . The BSPA had stumbled onto a good idea , probably through more luck than judgement , and have now reverted to type to mess it up . The home fans have been robbed of that extra bit of tension that makes any sport more enjoyable

Agree with everything you say though I know wee Nick is the new great Satan to the Monarchs faithful , but heats 13 and 15 were brilliant battles which Nick played his part . What a dream it would be to have a Tigers /Monarchs play off final in October . Though I think the BSF would explode . One point from Friday night , Craig Cook in heat 1 , equals track record of 54.8 and didn't have to look exceptionally quick in that race to win it . Not one other heat had a time under 57 seconds , very strange -

Sad to hear Rusty took a nasty one last night , we loved having him at Glasgow last year , and who could forget his amazing 17 points at our win at Derwent Park . There were rumours he was going to retire at the end of last season , hope this latest injury hasn't made his mind up and he comes back as good as ever . -
The season has not long finished , but I love Saturday nights watching the Braehead Clan in the British Elite ice hockey league . Also I love a day at the horse racing .

Enjoyable enough meeting , with Glasgow's mess up of a tactical ride offset by Edinburgh's unorthodox team riding in heat 14 . Cant complain about the end result , at least we took it to them right to the end . That's the Premier Trophy over , now for the league -

True , Sedgmen cant possibly be as dreadful as he was on Sunday , and I don't see us getting much change out of Masters and Cook . So the reserves race , heat 8 and the ones with the Wolbert/Riss partnership are the ones to focus on , the impressive gating of Serjeant would have been useful . But we'll go with what we have and see if we can sneak a point . -
Aye you're right , my euphoria was fuelled by the Horseshoe Bar's finest ales and a certain football result , so by the time we'd opened with two 5-1's and a 4-2 I was in dreamland . So the Horseshoe had to be visited again on the way home . Be brought back to earth on Friday ...................................maybe

All joking aside , today's scorline didn't really do justice to the gulf that existed between the sides . It's up to the Monarchs to respond now , and I'm sure Friday's return fixture will be a cracker . But with the best runner up qualifying to the semi finals , it's a good bet both Scottish clubs will make it and could even contest the final

For the last three seasons we've had to listen to their crap , today they were well beat and the last heat 1-5 just made the score look respectable . There was only one team , Masters apart , in it today . The ride by Nick Morris to shepherd Serjeant home in front of Wolbert was almost Parkeresque , a joy to watch . Somerset petal
