  1. Niether club have issued a preview yet, what's the weather forecast now for this one.
  2. You mean like he is storming the EL this year, let's be clear here Kings average has dropped so much he can now double up. Worrying signs for me as our top GB riders all now appear to want to ride in the PL, not hard to see why GB is in the state it is.
  3. Robert Lambert cannot double up because he doesn't have a PL MA established prior to the start of the season, would have thought a member of the BSPA MC would have known that.
  4. I have thought for years this is a basic problem with the speedway management in general. They treat supporters with complete contempt and try at all costs to keep them completely in the dark, honest and up front is much the better way but it's something this sport is dire at and is a major reason why it's in the state it is.
  5. Agreed, and the BSPA can only be taken to task for the complete shambles we get like this on a regular basis.
  6. I agree, Truckfest is the likely problem here or rather the usual mess they have left the Showground in.
  7. Not really a lot to grade though was there as it was quite slick, I thought they just about watered it enough to avoid the dust but I accept it's notoriously difficult for a sunny afternoon match. I did think Panthers would be closer but problems throughout didn't help.
  8. Indeed, and you never know who you will bump into with his dad.
  9. I can see this being a lot closer than the challenge match earlier especially with Bowen up into the team and Bunyan now back from the GP's Panthers were missing Blackbird and Jacobs last time and it was Dryml's first look at the track, after Wednesdays British SF I expect both the young Brits to score well, certainly more than RR and Danny Philips got us last time. Plus the bonus that I wont be wasting my money on the fish and chips this time around.
  10. Thought it was a great meeting, plenty of passing and more than enough incidents to keep everyone happy including Sky. I certainly don't think Newcastle were unlucky not to get anything as they were beaten by the better team but they played their part well and battled well despite their problems. Pleased to see Rosen walk away from that spill it looked horrendous.
  11. Their is a good rail link to stansted airport from Peterborough, at least hourly if not more frequent than that.
  12. I can only agree with the gating tart quote but did expect a lot better, Fish would have out scored that at Glasgow. That's definitely 2 points dropped as opposed to 1 gained.
  13. Another very good GP which picked up well after a slow start. I thought KK deserved his win, best rider on show. Shame about the Brits who looked like they were on lawn mowers compared to the rest and Woffy,s gating has totally deserted him. Cannot believe the crowd or lack of it, it was terrible.
  14. Dryml hadn't been to Hoddesdon either but wasn't too bad on his first visit, think this will come down to what Blackbird, Jacobs and Greenwood bring to the mix. I think this could be close, I was surprised to see you lost to Edinburgh the other week.
  15. Weather forecast for Tuesday is showers amid sun and clear spells, hopefully it will get a bit brighter nearer the day.
  16. Any local weather updates as this looked very iffy on previous forecasts.
  17. Must be honest and say I thought Peterborough's attendance would be hit in the evening after we won at Foxhall but their were loads of Witches fans at the Showground and that was easily our best crowd of the season.
  18. Like a lot of others I thought the second leg at the Showground would be hard and all credit to both teams for a good match. Not quite sure that the ref got it right when excluding Greenwood in heat 2 as it looked like Hawkins took him out. Witches were much better in the second match, but hard very little chance to pass at Foxhall which was super slick very early doors.
  19. Tungate made no effort to get up and clearly stayed down to get the race stopped. As for Bach v Fisher, Bach was just as hard on Fisher in the rerun of 13, it's called racing, hard but fair and no one falling.
  20. That was my first visit to Foxhall since the Witches dropped down to the PL and I was impressed with the changes to facilities for the supporters, stands on the back straight provide excellent viewing and generally it has much improved all round. The track appeared quite good before the match started but it was clear after the first few races it lacked any decent shale and I have to say the racing was pretty non existent, most of all passes were fully over by the back straight of lap 1. This badly needs addressing because with a good race surface this would be a good venue. Mills got an absolute flyer in heat 2 and I thought it quite funny when he said on the mike later he was just more focused than the other riders, clearly he wasn't quite so focused in his other 3. Tungate slipping off on the first bend of heat 13 and deliberately getting the race stopped when the Panthers pairing were in front was disappointing to see, I don't think this sort of cheating is impressive by riders of either side.
  21. I can see quite a lot of Panthers fans at Foxhall tomorrow for what should be a close match.
