  1. Seems pretty clear to me and I am not Doyle’s biggest fan, but then this is Barbara Horley’s specialist subject, (making complete cock ups on racing decisions), she has made a career out of it. Probably the only person in the stadium that thought Doyle was at fault.
  2. I think the aim was to help the home team and it clearly favours them. Super heats would certainly solve aggregate ties but other than that I really don’t see the point.
  3. Only this isn’t a win, it’s a draw, but a draw you get 3 points for. All thought up by Chris Louis I am told and as Roger Jacobs says above it’s a complete load of bolleaux
  4. Havvy the too was how he was known at Peterborough, because after a crap meeting he always said it was too wet, too dry, too slick or too grippy
  5. It was well strapped up and in a sling after the meeting.
  6. Certainly was an eventful meeting with a section of the 3rd and 4th bends causing three crashes, Palm Tofts crash was unrelated and then we had Doyle fence Basso as he was passing him. Nevertheless some good racing overall even if we did have a few fence repair hold ups. Ipswich’s chance of getting anything from the match pretty much went with Barker getting hurt but Panthers were good value for their win. I saw the comment about Doyle apologising to Basso in the pits but that’s not the first time this year that Doyle has rode like that and their is no getting away from it, Doyle is a dirty rider, hard riding I can live with and blocking someone is fair enough but Doyle well overstepped the mark last night and rightly got excluded.
  7. It needs a lot of co-operation between promoters in the BSPL but it doesn’t generally happen does it which is why we still have big problems. We need the three leagues to work together for the good of U.K. speedway but the facts shows that doesn’t happen, they cannot even have the same rules on how they operate or run competitions, until they start to work together Poland will be allowed to dictate things. For British riders to benefit from ACU allocations, ride for the GB team, ride in the British Championships, SON, SEC etc they should be required to ride in the U.K. and hold British Licences. I have absolutely no problem with British riders riding in Poland, Sweden or Elsewhere but they do need to ride in the U.K. if they want the benefits above.
  8. I don’t disagree with any of that, with the bottom line being generally the racing is generally poor with just the occasional good meeting.
  9. Because the referee wasn’t doing his job properly.
  10. It certainly no better these days and your point about nowhere produces consistently good racing is a valid one. Race suits, Lay Downs, Tuning and Big vans certainly look good but the tracks are abysmal most of the time, I certainly think a lot of the promoters have got it the wrong way round. The GP circus is a prime example, looks very professional until you get to the actual racing which generally is pretty non existent.
  11. That doesn’t say much about the team managers and the riders then because the inside gates were certainly better in the second half of the meeting
  12. Lack of preparation, the track has never been a good circuit for overtaking but yesterday it was abysmal, which for supposedly a major event was unforgivable. On a boiling hot day it needed a lot of water but the grip or lack of it was ridiculous. Doyle showed just how hard it was when he missed the gate in heat 15 and really really struggled over 4 laps to get third place, quite what lesser mortals were expected to do beggars belief. Is someone able to explain why Ipswich received inside gates for both the semi and final. Jarvis deserves criticism as well, his decision to exclude Andersen in heat 3 was laughable when it was obvious their was some contact with Lawson and some of the starts were questionable as well, some he let go and some he didn’t. As I mentioned earlier my first time using the streaming and it was excellent, it’s a real shame they cannot cover the Premiership league as I would use it every time for Peterborough aways.
  13. It’s on todays bspl news so clearly it is, looks like a facility then.
  14. BSN stream is excellent, it’s just a shame the track is utter Shyte with virtually no passing at all. Absolutely no encouragement to attend Foxhall next week and watch gate and go speedway the ref is clearly blind as well if he thought Hans fell entirely in his own
  15. Oh really, never heard of riders averages being re assessed by the BSPL then. Nothing is off the table in this sport.
  16. An absolute cracking meeting but not at all convinced the superheat added anything, 45 all would have still been a great result and everyone would have gone home happy. The racing was very good especially the last 5 heats, it would have made Eurosport’s night to have had that on tv.
  17. Lynn, Wisbech at Guyhirn don’t cross the river but go left towards March, then left through Coates Eastrea and Whittlesey to Peterborough.
  18. To be fair he has done it for years, just likes riding.
  19. Yeah right, any chance the Poole 2022 in the Premiership can get corrupted in the same way.
  20. That’s assuming he can remember to pack his passport for the flight
  21. It never ceases to amaze me that people still respond to the idiot, but as you say he baited his hook and got a few bites, interestingly not from regular Panther fans, who rightly just ignore the idiot.
