They don’t need to make an amendment even if the SCB allowed it. 10.3.1 allows the Board of Directors to approve or not a re declaration, I did wonder why they had allowed Zagar to replace Allen at Belle Vue and now I know.

You did, complete borefest

Last years Play Off Semi was reasonable entertainment

Quote of the night from Sam Ermolenko - I think the person getting out of the start will have an advantage. No $hit Sherlock Why do TV still use him, the blokes hopeless
-
They are Bending nothing, the BSPL Directors have completely ignored rule 12.2 and confirmed the declaration under 10.3.1 (best interests of the sport). Take a bow Godfrey, Bates, Louis and Ford.
-
They just cannot help themselves can they. So basically you could win your first 5 races score 20 points suffer an engine failure or get taken off and hurt in the semi and get awarded 9 GP points. It’s like the superheat, What plonkers keep thinking this crap up. How about some that will actually increase paying spectators like tracks that are set up for racing instead of trapping competitions.
-
It is now and your all forgetting this rule. 010.3.1 The BSPA Directors monitor all proposed moves and have the sole responsibility to approve all re-declared teams, having been satisfied they are in the best interests of the sport. Result BSPL Directors 5 Sport Credibility 0

To be fair it’s a nothing match for Ipswich and everything for Lynn, fair play to the Kings Lynn team they took advantage of our woes on the night and got the win at our place. They haven’t had a lot of success in recent times and it’s not looking to promising re the Iversen position. -

Says it all really doesn’t it. -
leicester lions already lost it ?

Thankfully No, but we are spoilt at Peterborough. Fantastic track that generally offers great racing, good facilities for fans and it’s own proper car parks both inside and out. -

A good friend of mine took his grandson to the Leicester v Newcastle match a couple of weeks ago, I asked him if the track was any better and he said it was utter shyte. I have been twice since it opened despite living only 35 miles away and despite a tidy stadium and viewing area the track, parking and racing is dreadful. -

If Hawkins was a tactical genius surely Basso was the obvious choice for Starke. -

So it’s still shyte then -
At the moment Iversen is named in the KL team, Kildemand isn’t., until Iversen leaves and Lynn re declare that’s how it will stay. 28 days or otherwise.

Belle Vue are trying to get him in

When have you ever known the BSPL rule book to be clear and precise as to how things work.

Stars v Panthers Thurs 21/04/2022

It was planned to host the final in the last week of April but the rain offs put paid to that -
Stars v Panthers Thurs 21/04/2022
bigcatdiary replied to Bald Bloke's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
The first 10 heats were pretty much gate and go but the closeness of the match made it entertaining, the later heats were better when we actually saw some overtaking. If we can come with a full team I fancy our chances at most tracks, Basso has been a super reserve so far. -
To be fair it’s not been tested so only the BSPL know fully how it will operate but I was told that no changes are allowed until 25% of league fixtures are completed. The other thing to remember is ALL changes have to be approved by the BSPL. That has proved in the past to be a real bone of contention.

Zager needs a work permit and my understanding is that these are taking longer since Brexit.
-
My understanding is it’s 25% of league fixtures

Panthers v Stars 18/04/22 5pm
bigcatdiary replied to Bagpuss's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Clearly a track walk is different to actually riding it. Whether the afternoon start and sun made a difference to normal conditions or the track man prepared it that way is open to conjecture but it was totally different to the Ipswich home meeting. Lynn deserved to win as I said earlier. I have known Horley for years and to my knowledge she has never been on the ball, on the retired list would be better.
