  1. Which begs the obvious question if you are both correct how is he replacing Stefan Nielsen who is on a 3.00 average ?
  2. I don’t agree with his actions and certainly won’t condone it but it happens on a fairly regular basis and has done for lots of years. Unfortunately the powers at be seem reluctant or powerless to stop it.
  3. His Championship GSA divided by 1-5 is 2.66 so he fits any way. I think the GSA issues should be updated and show averages (actual or converted) for all 3 leagues or N/A as appropriate, I see no good reason why meetings home and away should not be listed as well. List alphabetical instead of in teams per division.
  4. 2.58 is his rolling GSA on the Lynn website 2.55 is his average for Lynn this year.
  5. I will tell you something else that wasn’t funny for Panthers fans. Morris falling entirely on his own in heat 3 and being allowed back in the rerun Douglas giving Palm Toft a nudge in the rerun and causing him to fall and getting injured and no exclusion for Douglas.
  6. Yes because the Panthers are invariably better off using RR.
  7. I think the whole team and Rob Lyon in particular know that the job is still only half done and they need to stay focused in the second leg, if the track is prepared for as it was last Thursday it should be a cracking fixture. No one is getting carried away yet, it’s still early days.
  8. I will take that. Well done boys you dug in well. Hopefully MPT will be OK for next Monday.
  9. It completely depends on who goes best on any given night, any one of the four qualifiers are more than capable of winning the league. Probably one of the most open leagues for years.
  10. I think both legs will be fairly tight but Harris at 2 and Andersen at reserve should make it difficult for Wolves to pull out a big lead in the first leg if past form is anything to go by. As for averages I think Pedersen will end up at reserve in the October GSA and it’s looking like we might have a new no 1 as well but I think Ostergaard will be at worst second in the averages so it won’t make any real difference to RR other than we could use it anywhere from 2-5. That’s TM Rob Lyon speciality and he has certainly been up to the task so far this year. No tactical substitutes allowed in a two legged tie I believe which could make it interesting.
  11. Trouble with that if the home track is vastly different to their normal surface it generally affects the home team more, ie Monday at EOES v Sheffield
  12. I wouldn’t bank on that , he has missed pretty much all of this year through injury.
  13. And exactly how many times have the bspl followed through with a two year plan
  14. Where have you seen that, not mentioned on the websites ?
  15. RR is undoubtedly a cheaper option these days as some riders attempt to hold clubs to ransom.
  16. It doesn’t really matter what gets put in the rule book because they either ignore it or change it. Nothing set in stone
  17. To be fair CVS has stated he wanted the first leg first and Peterborough have said they wanted the second leg so that’s pretty clear cut to me.
  18. I said Jim McGregor because I was told it was him and I saw him in the pits before the meeting started, Programme stated Dave Robinson, unfortunately the programme this year has been wrong on a few occasions. I didn’t see either Dave Robinson or Mick Bates on the night although TV meetings used to have a steward as well. I am not sure if they still do this.
